I got a copy...I reckon it's his best album, lyrics wise, topics wise.
My favourites are "Never 2 Far", "Searchin", "It's OK"(the best on there), and, of course, "Infinite". "Maxine" is funny.
Your views?
-
I like West Coast hip hop a lot
-
yea shits tight the only song i don't like is maxine, u missed off 313 and that who da fuck passed u the mic 1...but i 4got what its called
-
i definately like the album and my favorite track is 313 but there are too many tracks on there that eminem sounds like a whiner on, that pissed me off at first listen, peace.
-
313 and Open Mic don't have that much deepness, just him spittin some mad shit...
Maxine was funny, just good...:) Like ya said.
He does kinda sound like a whiner on like "It's OK", but the lyrics are beautiful. Ya know what I mean?
-
Open Mic was hella tight. I was feeling that album. Good lyrical content.
-
Yeah man, I mean he's got some skillz aight
-
How can you not list "Open Mic"?????? That was lyrically one of the greatest songs ever, and that's the best lyrical skill he's ever shown us on the mic...
-
the lyrics are TIIIIIGht but the production is a bore
-
man it sucks that were talking about eminem's demo
have we exhausted all the other bullshit topics on this guy?
infinate was his demo for christs sake...
i mean sure you could tell that he had maaaaad talent from it but i dont think its something we should review as part of eminems catalogue.
i gotta say tho (no offence to you guys on here, y'all my homies for real) but im sick of talking or hearing about eminem.
peace out.
-
i dont have the whole ablum, i have just heard some tracks, and "backstabbers" song 10 is dope as hell
-
Uhhh, it's not a demo..."Infinite" was his first LP before he signed to Aftermath, they only printed 1000 copies...
And Big Jake...I din't think the production was that bad...The CD was produced by Kon Artist, who produced two tight tracks on "Devil's Night"...
-
Infinite was his first LP, Soul Intent or whatever was his demo. The SSEP was his first&only WEB big time release, then he signed to Aftermarh.
Lyricism means jack shit next to meaning. Never 2 Far, Searchin', It's OK...Etc...Is MUCH more enjoyable than fuckin 313 and Open Mic.
And if you don't wanna talk about him or listen to shit about him, don't click on the topic...I warned y'all it was an Em topic in the title.
And nobody brought up Infinite before.
-
I POSTED THIS THREAD AGEEEEEEEEEEEEEES AGO AND NO ONE RESPONDED....BASTARDS!!
INFINITE WAS EMS FIRST LP.....
HE RELEASED 'BITERPHOBIA' AND 'FUCKIN BACKSTABBER' FIRST
**BITERPHOBIA IS A FUCKIN TITE SONG..IF U DONT HAVE IT...GET IT...HIS FLOW IS FAST, WELL CONSTRUCTED WITH A TITE BEAT!**
I BET NO ONE ON THIS FORUM HAS AN 'ORIGINAL' COPY - THAT UD B SOOOOOOOOOO RARE U CUD MAKE A FORTUNE
THE FUNNIEST THING BOUT INFINITE IS EMS 'BABY' VOICE..HE SOUNDS SO YOUNG!!
BUT AS I SAID AGEEEEEEEEES AGO......TITE LP
peace
-
i know it was released as an lp (on a very small scale)
but ive heard eminem say several times that he prefers to think of it as a demo showcasing his skills before he really found his sound.
-
And if you don't wanna talk about him or listen to shit about him, don't click on the topic...I warned y'all it was an Em topic in the title.
its kind of difficult when every other topic on the board is eminem related, either that or 'what is your top 10......'
u think if i go to the eminem board i can talk about some west coast rap? theres an idea
-
nike...just cuz kon artis produced it don't mean it's good, i just ain't feelin' the production, the wordplay and lyracism are tight but the production is a bore to me...
-
cuz kon artis produced it don't mean it's good, i just ain't feelin' the production, the wordplay and lyracism are tight but the production is a bore to me...
I didn't say it was great...I just though it was ok for the low budget equipment they had back then....
-
i gotta say tho (no offence to you guys on here, y'all my homies for real) but im sick of talking or hearing about eminem.
Finally someone agrees with me. I'm tired of this bullshit. There have been countless numbers of eminem post over the past month.
-
That's mostly because D12 just dropped, and we've been debating about it the past month...I really don't mind the Em topics...
-
Aight then, I'm sick of the Dre topics, stop posting them.
Like that? No? Oh, surprise surprise.
I like the production...*shrug*
And I have an original copy, got it from a friend's friend at WEB(J.T. Carr, promo team).
-
LOL u cant avoid Dre here with our history
-
I downloaded all these songs and i thought they were pretty bad, i got really bored listening to them.
-
LOL u cant avoid Dre here with our history
Shit, then you can't avoid Em with our history in recent months.
-
I'm starting to wonder if this is the eminem.com forum.
-
If it was we would have teeny boppers running all ovcer telling stories about how good they suck dick...
-
LOL Thats very true.
-
"help help i'm pregnant" that was the funniest one.. when she was looking for help, and the little bitches called her a slut!
-
haha classic
at the moment theres a post over at the dre board about how tupac killed biggie....

-

there is a very rare eminem song with royce da 59 and it is called "the one" and the version i have is about 2:50 and then it cuts off, my first question is:
a) where is this track from?
b) does anyone have the full version?
-
An original copy of Infinite is a huge collecters item now. It's like a Hip-Hop Holy Grail. This one guy bought an original vinyl of it for $350.00. One went for $500.00 at Ebay awhile back. I think it was an original tape. But don't quote me on that because it might've been a some other format like CD or vinyl. I don't even know if they pressed any to CD. I have it on CD-R myself. I have those Soul Intent tracks too. The quality of the Soul Intent songs are't that good though.
TheSheriff. I think you said in a earlier post that you have an original copy of Infinite. You have a valuable piece of Hip-Hop collection there. Hold onto that like it's Cal Ripken Jr. Rookie card.
-
ayo alerg...
i got the same version of 'the one' that you got...
it cuts out at the end...
apparently its off a mixtape put together by the hip hop shop (kinda like the lyricist lounge but in detroit, im sure youve heard of it) but i heard someone say it might get on royce's album recently so fingers crossed.
em comes tight on that track...
are you married?
me? nah im divorced
of course you are you little fucking trailor park whore
lol
-
I doubt he has an original copy...They made a lot of fake copys that look identicle to the original, but it's remastered so the sound quality sounds better...They made less than 500 CD's of "Infinite"....
-
I thought it was less than 1,000?
-
i heard it never came out on CD.. .only tape and vinyl
-
*thinks*
Naw, I reckon it's an original tape. I hate tapes, but it's decent enough quality, and valuable. I have like 6 copies, in case anything happens.
I have a Soul Intent tape, bad quality, but I like it. Bit out there though.
-
You have 6? Send me one in the mail...
-
Oh, and there was CD versions of it, but there was less than 500...not 1000
-
Oh aiigh, my bad.
-
Aight, Nik, as I said the one I'll send is a copy(if you thought it was original, I only have the tape for that...).
Hit me up on email(owenedwards@hotmail.com) or MSN Messenger, gimme your address, etc.
-
