The Notorious B.I.G. behind the music to premire next sunday on VH-1
-
Damn its about time. I'm sure they did one on 2pac. I remember MTV did somethin on BIG's life and it was very interesting.
-
it seems wrong for VH1 to be doing one.. they have never played a biggy video ever therefore its not like they are the leading authorities, fuckheads...
-
Nah...they haven't done one on Pac yet...they just showed him on a couple of their year end reviews show's & once on a mysteries & scandles type show about music stars....I'm kindda lookng foward to see who they get to comment on Biggie (besides the usual suspects)
-
Why does VH1 show "Behind the Music's" about Rappers when they have never played Rap on their stations?...I bet the Redneck honkeys are just as mad about this as we are about NSync being on BET...LOL
-
Yo wot day exactly is i ton cause I be looking up my cable mag (uk) and I can't see it in there. And in UK VH-1 do play rap like once in a bkue moon but they do play it but mostly all the old shit.
Hell they played Micheal Jackson (Wacko Jacko, just had to say that). Isn't he rap? ???
-
LOL no he's not really Rap...
-
Reality Check:
VH1 And MTV Are And Have ALWAYS Been Owned By The Same Company. So Even Though They Haven't Played Their Videos, It's Really Not Relative.
-
They play rap at like 3AM.
-
R u seriouse? The closest to Rap I've ever seen is TLC...
-
what time is it at?
-
Its this show called VH-1 Soul. Its mostly R&B but everyonce in awhile they might play a rap video. Its pretty rare though.
It's on at 2 or 3 in the morning on saturday night/early sunday morning.
-
that ain't true about rap videos i use to be a music videoaholic and they've played
the fugees
will smith
puffy
coolio
public enemy
and they've actually played or half played
"crossroads"
"dear momma"
"nuthin but a g thang"
"walk this way"
and alot of other good music videos they just don't usually make the usual line up they got
-
i think VH1 is pretty tight, they play a much wider variety of music than MTV, even if they dont play hardly any hip hop.
but thats in england, maybe the american one is different
-
Nah, it's The Same Here, They Play A Pretty Hot Lineup Usually.
-
I got love for VH1, them stories they have on stars are phat and mad interesting. The music they play aint my thing though. I can't wait to see their upcoming feature on Biggie, just when you think you've heard all the stories and rumors you never know when more stuff will pop up. Word still is hard here on the East that Suge Knight is responsibile for both BIGS and Pacs murders. Word also on the street is with that whole Puffy situation where he is withholding information about BIGS murder is true. People are saying Puff and Suge made an agreement. Suge doesnt tell all he knows about his bodyguard being killed in Atlanta, Puff doesnt tell all about the BIGGIE situation. Just the vibe here in NY. I hope that aint true.

Thats tight. It's about time they do one on my man biggie. VH1 behind the music is the shit. It's one of my favorite shows.
So far I have seen behind the music on (hip hop stars only)
dr. dre
snoop dogg
russell simmons
run dmc
tlc
public enemy
(They need to have one on ll cool j)
-
yea behind the music is one of my favorite shows too. the ones on vanilla ice and milli vanilli were good, it was fucked up when the dude from milli killed himself.
