the real innovator of the attitude era...
-
no question. couldnt agree more.
-
It's too bad he never got the chance to show his talent thanks to injuries and pills.
-
One wrestler doesn't make the movement, but Pillman was a huge part of the blueprints that made the attitude era. Pillman, the Outsiders, Austin, ECW as a whole, Shawn Michaels, they laid down the foundation. I can't put my figure on who started it, who was the most of important, who was the innovator, but all of them were so huge.

Dont forgte Bret Hart tho. Bret startd shoving Vince around accusing him of screwing him over. He was the first one to acknoledge that he was the owner. So i would throw Bret Hart into the mix.

WOW Austin looked A LOT like Shawn Michaels in that promo. Just the way he talked/looked etc.. definitely reminded me of Michaels.
Great promo too.
Wasn´t there some story about Austin not wanting to work with Hogan in WWE cause Austin was held back by Hogan in WCW (like he stated in the promo?)

from what I remember, he didn't want to work with Hogan because of Hogan's political influence that would probably cause Hogan to win the match over Austin.
basically a clash of egos; not sure if the WCW issue influenced his decision about not working with Hogan (probably did though to some degree).

RIP to the Loose Cannon....
-
LMAO @ him about to pull his dick out in the middle of the ring.
-
pillman belonged in either ecw or wwf's attitude era...he was way ahead of his time....his loose cannon gimmick was too over the top for wcw...if it wasn't for that car accident pillman would have reached his full potential and he woulda became a main eventer. he would be up there with the austins, outsiders, etc...R.I.P.
-
Pillman was great but I couldn't imagine ever becoming as big as Austin became. Austin was more responsible for money being made than anyone else. Hogan and Austin and then there is everyone else as far as the modern era is concerned.

they never do stuff like that anymore. i remember a hardcore match between al snow and hardcore holly where they fought outside in the snow and ended up in an ice cold creek somewhere. that was dope.

Its so funny with these guys. When i think of Stone Cold all I picture in my head is "Stunning Steve Austin" from WCW fame. God, he was about as dominant as Chavo Guererro lol BTW...the whole "attitude" genre started long before these guys...ask Roddy Piper.
