No common, no Blue and Exile, no Evidence, no Wu , no Ghostface... every can have his own opinion but if Curtis and the Big Squeeze are top 20, it would mean 2007 has been the worst year in hip hop history and by far .. I don't think so

interesting

i think massacre is one of the worse ever made, period. not just 50s worse, but just terrible.... most people i know agree that curtis is better then massacre... i wasnt gonna get curtis becuase massacre was so terrible then my homie bumped it for me... and i was like wow... 50 came back finally... sure theres a couple tracks i dont like... but he did his thing... its still not near GRODT but its a decent album

Curtis is more an RNB-pop rap album than anything else .. of course Massacre has his share of very popular songs but there are some "hip hop" songs on it .. that's why I like it better

"Massacre" had a couple I really like.... Position of Power, Ski Mask Way, In My Hood.... a few good Hi-Tek and Dr. Dre beats

"Curtis" on the other hand was shit 360 degrees

Massacre was 10x times better. The production was banging (I missed Hi-Tek, Needlz, Sha Money.... on Curtis) and 50 was still really passionate about putting out a dope album. The direction of the album might not have been the best for hip hop fans, since he wanted to really have that mass appeal but like I said, you could still hear the hunger. If he'd just cancel 3,4 tracks and kept those Dre joints he gave to Game it would've been better than GRODT.

Curtis on the other hand, was forced, made in 3 months and sounded uninspired.

I can't think of 20 albums that impressed me in 2007.

Only about 3 or 4:

Chamillionaire - best of 2007!
WC
Suga Free
Scarface
UGK

that's about it...

Bone Thugs, Devin weren't bad as well. But I cannot make a top 20 list this year. These are not the 90s.

The only two albums I liked this year were "Guilty by Affiliation" and "Sunday School" by Suga Free.

Buck the World was OK. A somewhat mediocre year in music. Especially because Nas, and 50 Cent dropped poor albums.
