Why? because they make music for the street... more than half tha muthafuckers I named dont have any videos on MTV or BET. Mostly all their subjects are subjects people in tha "hood" or gangstas can relate to, Gang Bangin, Pimpin, or gettin high. And one of the reasons they rap about these subjects so much is because that's how they live... or atleast how they used to live. Yeah, they're all artist NOW but back in tha day alot of these foolz were gang bangin on tha streets of Cali.... Snoop, Kurupt, Daz, Mausberg, Dj Quik, Jayo Felony, C-Bo, MC Eiht.
Eminem doesn't do Music for Gang Bangers or for tha streets.... IMO he does music for EMCEES, and TRL. He raps about Killing people and doing drugs but it aint got nothin to do with street life.
