Can someone explain why this label existed ?
As far as I know only Fila Fresh Crew, Tarrie B., and H.W.A. were acts with any type of releases on this imprint.
Any Info ?

I've actually never heard of that. I'd love to know more info if anyone has some.

dont really know much about it. on The D.O.C.'s "Grand Finale" someone (maybe Dr. Dre) says: "shouts to all the Comptown Posse".

Comptown was a "upstart" type of label Eazy started... Once Ruthless got hot everybody wanted a piece of Eazy but ge couldn't have the Ruthless brand at various labels (Eazy had JJ Fad and The DOC at Atlantic and hiaa main deal at Priority Records) So he started Comptown and did a deal at Warner Bros. It was strictly a "business move" for Eazy... He had no intention on those acts blowing up... It was to get that bread from other labels and not jeopardize the original brand he created with Ruthless. Eazy was hella smart... Imagine uuf Jay-Z,50, or Suge started another label on the low and did it from behind the scenes?? Smart Business on Eazy's part.

maybe he didnt believe in those acts to beguin with so he was trying to use his other situation as an "incubator" of sorts.
