The Future of Hip-Hop? as in a legend
-
I think the game is better than the rest of the guys on the list, but crooked i could be a valid choice for "other".
-
The Future of banned posters? as in a idiot
FIXED!
LOL
-
Um i see The Game makin the biggest dent in hip hop if he comes out with a solid near classic next album
-
Lupe, he will change the game COMMERCIALLY (like all tha other artist mentioned above) on anotha level, if not that he will b tha next Kanye
-
Kanye will have the biggest influence of them all. Then the Game and then either Lupe or TI. If Lupe delivers another 4.5/5 album then he'll surpass the Game but atm moment he'll be remembered but not that much. TI will always just be grouped with the populare southern artists of the time, although i think he's one of the few southern artists that if southern hip hop lost its mainstream appeal would survive.

why ain't chingy on that list??
-
the game
-
those are not much options.

If the Game, and his type of music, is the future of hiphop.... we're going to have a horrible next few years. West coast music hasn't changed since the 90's, and people like Game try the same formula they used, the same content, the same rhymes. It's boring. It's cool when actual G's like Cube or WC or Dre do it. But what does Game know about what hes rapping about? Nothing.
The future of hip hop I hope is Timbaland. He easily is the best producer of 2007, and is one of the few artists to change his style and stay interesting. Game's first album, was just like his second album, which will be just like his next album, and so on and so on. People like Timbaland change their style up, and keep their music interesting.
-
as long as hip hop remains in the box its created for itself, there is no future, people will get bored of the same "bang bang i smoke weed fuck bitched and im the best rapper ever" rap, rappers need to take some risks and be innovative

the hiphop i crave sounds like Rae on C.R.E.A.M. or even Vast Aire on Pigeons, not like Nelly Furtado on a Timbaland fart.

I mean The Game is very ight and has potential t drop a lot more heat.
Kanye as a rapper i cant stand him but i see him producing some dope records in the future and not just in hip hop.

Timbaland gave Furtado, Timberlake, and Shock Value, the best beats of the year. No contest. How many times can you hear the same shit? The Game's content is sooo boring. It's over-used, over done, and should of been left in the 90's. He copies the older styles, making repetitive music. If you want to hear the same song, with the same lyrics, over and over, then good for you. But some people want something ORIGINAL. And the Game ain't even a thug, or whatever he thinks he is. People who haven't experienced "the street" shouldn't rap about it. Period!!!

thats retarded, nwa werent gangsters, its ghetto reporting, you dont have to be poor, or be discriminated against, to be able to understand the suffering or the struggle, and write music about it, look at bob dylan's blowin in the wind, this was a song that should be sung by a black person, like billie holidays strange fruit, its a song about struggle and in many aspects the african american struggle. so just cause someone is not a gangster, does not mean they cant make music about the streets and the "thug" lifestyle. the problem with rappers is that instead of being artists who envoke feeling through song writting, and can tell the story about anything in the fuckin world, wether its starvation in africa, spies in russia, or the effect of too much money, or lack of money, IT doesnt matter, because if you can touch someone with your songwriting and have them experience something they wouldnt be able to in real life, or they can relate to.

Kanye West no doubt.. because he is further than hiphop, he's a musician...
-
none of these guys compare in HIP HOP terms to lupe fiasco....game wish he could spit like Lupe. Game is like anyone else in rap really ,nothing special.
-
kaz kyzah, clyde carson, ya boy, eastwood, crooked I, the game, joe budden, that's the future
-
why ain't chingy on that list??
Yeah, u doin my boy wrong!
