2Pac debuted in the top ten on the UK singles charts last week, five years after he was shot and killed in Las Vegas. "Until The End Of Time," entered into the charts at number four, making it the second highest entry for the week.
Until The End Of Time, which is his latest posthumous release, has gone triple platinum according to the Recording Industry Association Of America.
The latest release puts Pac's career sales at a whopping 33.5 million records sold, giving 2pac the distinction of being the best selling Hip-Hop artist of all time. The Notorious B.I.G. and Hammer lag behind with 16 million records sold a piece. The latest round of certification puts 2pac at number 20 on the list of best selling solo artists.

You may see him dancing around on a Broadway stage in The Sound Of Music, and that's the kind of music he listens to, he's an actor, thesbian, choir boy. His favorite rapper is 2pac. And he says Eminem is too hardcore for him. He can't handle it. It makes him feel nervous and uncomfortable.

I think Em is far from a bitch. I think Pac and Em have the same amount of white fans. Also, Em is a 2Pac influenced MC. He said his all time favorite rapper was 2Pac. He also shows PAc respect. Pac should be the biggest selling rapper of all time. He did more for Hip-Hop than any other rapper of his time.

I love 2pac, and in no way am I dissing him. But I will add to my last post in saying that my 50 year old mother also thought 2pac was okay, but that Eminem was a little too much for her to take.

I can name 20 white girls I know that were one of those die-hard Pac fans with all his albums and a bunch of posters. He had many white female fans, sure not as many as Eminem but still. A pretty shitty album compared to AEOM, or Makaveli...Indeed, anything except of his while still alive except 2Pacalypse Now...But still a classic album, nonetheless.

I know some heads out there that got into the game listening to Master P,and felt really stupid when No Limit fell apart, and they are overcompensating by trying to diss a big name in an attempt to sound more knowledgable.
By the way, I don't see all these kids ya'll are talking about. That supposedly run around with a blonde dye job and act like they know everything about rap because they listen to Eminem. I have never met one kid like that. If there are kids out there like this, good, it's better then them trying to be like DMX or Fred Durst. There was a time when I was 12 and somebody could've said, "that kid thinks he knows everything about rap because he listens to Snoop", but nobody did, cause nobody was that big of a dickhead.

one of the main reasons em sells more is cause his fan base is wider...people who bought pacs albums back in the day were rap fans...and people who buy ems albums (specially whites) are not only rap fans but of other genres as well....good examples...i have lots of friends who listen to nothing but garbage music they call death metal or whatever, but they all have em's album mmlp?? and no other rap whatsoever.....only cause he's white i think thouogh...cause i try to introduce them to other rap and they reject it but for some reason will listen to em

Actually, Technically 2pac has probably only "REALLY" sold about half of that 30 million + sales of his. Coz alot of his stuff are double cds which means they are counted twice.
For example if "All eyez on me" has gone 10x plat (diamond) then really its sold 5 mill. (5 mil per cd)

Pac isnt pop son. He doesnt rely on shock value and commercialism to sell records like Eminem does. Pac sells records cuz everyone is feelin him, and he was the realest to ever touch the mic, and also, cuz he's dead [not to take anything away from him though, cuz he sold alot while he was alive too, just not as much]. You dont see Britany Spears fans buying 2Pac albums. But they DO buy Eminem albums, cuz of the controversey he was in with the pop stars. Sorry, you can try to argue, but its true.

Out here in Cali, Eminem's albums are bought by teeny boppers. I have no reason to lie or do any research. I work at a music store, and almost everyone who asks for Eminem albums is like 15 or under. Me jealous of Eminem?? Yea fucking right. Id kill myself if I was anything like that loser.

Also, Eminem aint gonna outsell 2Pac. Pac has sold over 34 million albums, and he's still climbing. Em has only sold 11 million. The Marshall Mathers LP has fallen off the charts completely, and All Eyez On Me, Greatest Hits, and Makaveli have all re-entered the charts.
But fuck a record sale, its the music that counts, and I think the vast majority of people will agree that Pac is better than Eminem.

Anybody who sells multiplat is going to have teenyboppers on their nuts. Real hip-hop fans don't account for many sales, in fact i'm willing to bet most hardcore hip hop fans don't buy CD's they burn em. As far as Pac goes, sure he had teenybopper fans but not as much as Em. As it was stated before most of Pac's huge sales are from double CD's which are counted twice. The thing is people are still buying Pac's albums 5 years after he died. If Em were to die this year I doubt anybody would be buying his shit 5 years from now. I'm not saying Em isn't, dope cause he is, but Pac is a legend.
