Oh, didn't know Jaheim had a new album out! Thanks for the heads-up. Will have to scoop it up. I'm really digging Jaheim's music. Don't know what it is, but something about his music makes it sound very authentic and not "pushed" by major labels, unlike most contemporary R&B/nu-soul acts out there.

At least early on when he first came out, nearly all of his production was done by Kay Gee who was the producer for all of the early Naughty By Nature albums.  Super talented dude.  I remember he said something that Hip Hop got boring to him so he focused on R&B instead, but I also remember hearing something within the last year that he was getting back with NBN...

His first album is very good. After that he released a handful of good tracks. This album is crap.

he did a lot of production on it, about half the album!  the record is pretty dope to me, i only listened to it once the whole way through so far though.
