His number will make it seem like he had a worse game than he really had. He was never the heart of the offense (but he did looked like it in this game a bit). He's still a better guy than Campbell right now to play QB for Washington. I think the whole game changed with that drop by Cooley after the botched kick off. Cooley makes the catch, they score a TD, go up 21-13, play conservative small ball, win the game and Collins gets praised and ensures a start next year. But it was dropped, then the FG was wide. Then Seatle scored and got a 2 point. Then Moss gave up on a play and what may not have been an INT became an INT TD return. And it was all down hill from there.
It all came down to one drop in my mind. Either way Collins isn';t as good as they made him out to be in the pregame, but he knows that and admitted it several times this week. But I'd still rather have him right now than I would Campbell. That being said I'd keep Campbell and start hm the year after next bt based on the last 4 games and what I saw from him in this game, unless he sucks altogether in training camp Collins would be my starter.

well either way he lost the game
nice effort though by the skins

hahahha...no

nah...campbell is their man

If he doesn't start then Campbell better start strong because they go 0-2 and Collins is coming in. He knows te system better and is more mature. I think Campbell could learn a alot playing under him one year.
Hack, you say HE lost like HE could have won.

i think Collins is better as the starter too, shit they won 4 in a row to end the year and he was very good during that stretch, i think it should def be an open race next year, Campbell seem to regress a tad this year...

he's too old for that. if jeff garcia goes back to being a back up for mcnabb in philly (granted he resigned) than collins goes back behind campbell.
