I have been into J Dilla's music a lot lately, and I bought Shining about a year ago and it's great...
So I'm gonna go to cop some Dilla's albums, but can you give your opinions on his albums (Ruff Draft, Welcome To Detroit etc.)
Oh and I have read that he changed his production style in his later years, and you can really hear it too when comparing the sounds in the early 2000 to his last years...So I have really been digging his later sound, sounds so raw and...I dunno, just so dope....
But anyway, can someone share some thoughts, I would really appreciate it...

Once you get into Dilla's sound, theres no stopping you.
Welcome to Detroit is a fuckin classic to me. I bang that cd from top to bottom atleast once a week. This ones good cuz theres a lot of rapping by dilla on it. Fav song would be featuring Phat Kat
Ruff Draft is dope. A lot of nice beats to just smoke a fatty too and zone out. A couple instrumentals on this. Fav song is Wild.
Jay Loves Japan. I just recently picked this up. Dope! Some more mellow tunes to embrace. Mostly instrumentals. Fav song is Yesturday.
I havent picked up Donuts yet because its all instrumentals and im not an emcee so i dont really see the use of buying a cd with like 30 instrumentals.
There ya go! Dilla is the MAN. Top 5 producers of all time! 8) 8)

and about that Jaylib album...jeah I liked it, didn't always really feel the raps in it though.....
but Tha Red has been like my favorite jam the last couple of months, shit is BANGING!!! 8)
and there's couple of others too that are hot, like "raw shit" with kweli, "starz", "the official" and "mcnasty filth" or whatever it is :P
