still haven't. I know that its bcuz of the bullshit politics and shit like dat but honestly, is this the last year?

^For real. All these fools have been talking about releasing their albums for at least 2 years. So far Glasses Malone is the only one to make any real progress. And a lot of these artist bitch about not getting any respect/love from whoever/whatever. Why the fuck should people care when you don't even release an album? Stop talking and drop something. Mixtapes are alright, but they are a dime a dozen these days. Give me something on your own.

Yeah and i HATE how dumb some of these niggas be wit their mixtape. Its like if u a new artist and u pose to create interest how u gon ask niggas to PAY for yo mixtape when niggas dont even know who u r. Its like, nigga who the fuck is u? Some of these new cats tryna take the short cut to make it.
But i mean lets say Game retires, and maybe only 2-3 outta these gets a release that for this year and flops (not sale wise), Where do yall see the West then? Would u say that DETOX would be the only hope for the West if the things that i just described happens?

I don't like the term 'new west' to begin with. It's like when you say 'new west' you put the vets on a platform. Of course Snoop has more talent in his foot than all these new cats have combined, but you don't need talent to sell records. Look at the South! If D4L can sell records, then all rappers mentioned above can do too.

The problem is these cats still live in their illusional world and think they are the next rap superstars.. the majority signed on a major but they have no clue of how hard is the music industry and how to handle their situation properly to release an album .. as I said before why not going the independant route .. but these dudes (not just from the West , it's the same for Saigon , Papoose and them) aren't clever enough to understand it .. rap music is like any other market, you got a kind of offer and request... the music of these rappers isn't the kind of music the majors want and the average fans want to hear.. so GO INDEPENDANT ... none of these , outside Bishop ( he will need a BIG single though ..) has a chance to have success on a major label ..
