Post by: AlerG on June 13, 2001, 09:49:54 PM: this page has nothing but CGI timeouts, overseer you need to do something about that cause it's a pain in the ass and hard to see any threads or replys to threads, peace.

Post by: Big BpG on June 18, 2001, 12:23:18 AM: No it's the CGI... the cgi only gives the visitor so much time to load... when that time runs out it stops loading... so yes, it could be the connection, but also think about it. what takes time to load? PICTURES! All those profile pics takes time to load and slow you down and since CGI only gives you a certain amount of time it always comes up with an error. What you need to do, is try to figure out if you can adjust the cgi time to a more decent time cause it's definetly not working here...

u get 10 seconds to get the page - if u dont get it, the server spits 'CGI Timeout' to ya - and thats all it sends.

i cant change this, they wont change this - next year it'll get sorted coz we'll have a better host
