The Staten Island home of G-Unit associate Barja Walter, was shot at and nearly firebombed early Tuesday morning (January 8th). According to the New York Post, the attack occurred at about 4:45 a.m. when unknown assailants sprayed the home and Walter’s bulletproof SUV with bullets and tossed a Molotov cocktail onto the lawn. Nobody was hurt during the incident, but bullets also hit the home of one of Walter’s neighbors. Walter, who has been described in previous reports as a road manager for G-Unit rapper Tony Yayo, lives in the home with his girlfriend and three kids. Back in 2006, he was questioned in connection with the murder of Busta Rhymes’ bodyguard Israel Ramirez. In 2003, Walter was acquitted on charges of shooting at a group of police officers in Brooklyn’s Louis Armstrong housing project. At the time, the New York Daily News reported that 50 Cent covered his legal fees in that case.
