The Wii doesn't play DVD's...haha wow.
First they want to charge for a browser, and now they don't include dvd software because they're fucking cheap, disgusting.
Yet they make sure that Wifi is in so you can buy games online :grumpy:
Haha I've spent more on this Wii for my sister than I probably will for my PS3.

Yeah, you get raped in that aspect, but its worth it.

Wii Optical Disc is a 8.5GB, 12cm DVD based technology.
It was chosen by Nintendo to prevent copyright infringement of its games, to avoid licensing fees to the DVD Forum and to reduce loading times.

Lol yeah what Tobias said, it used to be free.
I'ma invest in a 360 Elite.
If they had DVD software one could kiss that £180 tag goodbye  Xbox Core would probably be the prime choice if the Wii's price jacked up because of a DVD player included.
Besides...By now i bet you have 2+ DVD players around the house? Most households have 2 commonly. (PS2, one on the PC/one connected to the TV.)
