On the Doggystyle Album by Snoop there is a song called Gz and Hustlas Its fuckin amazing what a song! Did he release it in America. he should make a 2001 version of it and release it, boss beat to it like dead good. New fav song! LOL
-
for real? i didnt hear that yet
-
is this thread for real
gz and hustlaz, has it ever been released, you're joking right
i am mad confused
am i misunderstanding you?
holler back, peace.
-
G'z and Hustlaz? Yeah it got released. One of my favorite songs on that album. It's incredible.
-
Sorry if I didnt make sense.
On the doddystyle album there is a song called GZ AND HUSTLAS I was just sayin that is is a good song. I was wonderin did it get released as a a single in America because as far as I know I have never seen it over here.
I also said that he should make a 2001 version of it cause the song is good. The beat on the song is boss and the rappin is boss to, He should make a new version and stick i on his new album or whateva.
Peace out nigga'S!
-
oh ok i got cha
nah it wasn't released as a single but i think it should've been, it's the best song on the cd in my opinion, str8 heat, peace.
-
Yea, in fact there are three songs that were on Doggystyle, but were later pulled... they are
Gz and Hustlaz
The Next Episode (original version not on 2001)
Doggystyle ( a song feat George Clinton)
-
^^^He means Gz Up, Hoes Down, not Gz & Hustlas that was pulled^^^
-
about Gz Up Hoez Down
does anyone have the full version of that track
all i ever heard was the 2:20 version and then i cuts off which is an incredible tease, please let me know if a full version exsists, peace.
-
the 2.20 version is the full version, its supposed to cut off like that at the end
-
oh really, well than that is definately a disappointment, it sure doesn't sound like it's supposed to end there, it sounds like it just got cut off and there is more to the song. if that is the full version than it doesn't make sense cause the song is so short and snoop usually makes his full songs around 4:00 minutes give or take :30 seconds, hmmm, i'm not sure that's the full version dog, peace.
-
well thats how it is on my doggystyle cd. he only busts two verses then he does a lil ad-lib to outro so yea its clearly sposed to end there
-
Yeah, It Ends There...
Hey, Does Anybody Agree With Me That "The Next Episode" Doesn't Sound Like It Was Supposed To Be On Doggystyle? The Beat Doesn't Fit The Vibe Of The Album... sounds To Me Like Maybe It Was Supposed To Be On A Single, Or On The Chronic, Later On In The CD?
-
"the next episode" is on Warren G's first album the last track...the same fuckin beat and sound..that organ or piano or whatever it is...
-
Yeah its almost identical to Runnin' Wit No Breaks.
-
YEah the Og NExt episode is a tight ass song for lyrics..Yeah and that beat is in warren gs shit.
-
Ah Loc if I was on here when you did your first repy we would have got on that joke!
"Gz and Hustlas, nah never heard that song. Who's it by? Sno.. Snoop who? HaHA that's a funny name for a rapper"
;D
Safe
-
LOL, sarcasm is the finest form of humor. probably
-
hey, ur "Gz Up Hoez Down", iz it tha last song? cuz izn't it supposed 2 go after "Doggy Dogg World" or summin? o well. most people have it as their last song.
yea, "Tha Next Episode" iz a pretty dope song, 2 bad people that downloaded it have it watered down.... wut did yall think about that song "Doggystyle"? i think it woulda fit on tha CD.... y did they cut it out?????
-
It goes in between the sam sneed "Checkin'" skit (its called that on my vinyl version) and "Pump Pump"
I've seen with my own eyes 4 versions of doggystyle
1) version with gs up hoes down as i described, cd lists order wrong, and next episode is listed & not included
2) covers list gs up hoes down and next episode but they arent on there
3) cover removed listings for those 2 songs
4) the new remaster matches 3
i own two copies of 1 (cd/vinyl), 1 copy of 3, plus 1 of 4). guy @ work has number 2
-
i REALLY want #1 but i have #3. if they never made tha remastered #1 would still be out!
-
no it wouldnt
-
Gz & Hustlaz is possibly the best Snoop "solo" song EVER, I swear.
It has his best rhymes, an amazing beat, but it doesn't fit on the album...It not fonky...
-
my version lists Gz Up Hoes Down, and the song is on the cd (track 18, before pump pump), but next episode isnt listed.
also, the full track list (including the skits) is printed on the cd over the blue snoop picture
-
Dat`s real mysterious with that numerous " Doggystyle-Versions " ,
We definitly have to ask Snoop or someone from the DPG personally whatz that all about with this " OG Next Episode " and the " Doggumentary EP " and so on, when they`re at a Chat Room the next time .
I want to know whatz that all about.
-
its not really a mystery.
when doggystyle was released it initially had the extra track as intended - (these values are by no way accurate.. its just for explanation) say they pressed 10000 copies and printed up 50000 covers (due to pricing tiers stuff like this happens all the time) after the album is out there they are threatened with legal action due to the isaac hayes sample used on gs up, hoes down (or some other element) - the next runs of albums (up to the next 40000) would use the same covers.. but disks with the song removed are used with the wrong covers to save money until new covers are needed.
-
I see,
but whatz up with " OG Next Episode " ,
some say they had it and lost it, some say his friend has it and so on ,
but though no one has it !?
This track was never released on any " Doggystyle Version " same with the " Doggumentary EP " .
There`s a bad quality version goin`through the net and datz it !
Anyone who think`s I`m wrong, show me the opposite !!
-
doggumentary was a b-sides compilation - the track list is known
i'm don't want to drag up the other argument again (someone here says its on theres) i kinda agree.. but its possible think a limited number may be out there... one problem is because the back doesnt list all the skits n stuff properly the track order is all fucked up, and people misname the mp3s when they rip em.. try downloading 'the next episode' track 19 from doggystyle over any file sharing thing and i bet you end up with a copy of 'pump pump'
-
so tell me if i got this right...does the new remastered version of doggystyle have doggystyle, gz up hoez down, and next episode on it?
also someone please give me the doggumentary ep's tracklist, peace.
-

peace
-
