I'm a newbie to this forum but as someone who supports west coast rap all I've got to say is I'm sure I'm not the only one who gets tired of Spider Loc talk shit about the likes of DJ Quik and other rappers who are much more talented than him. I'm not doubting that this dude is from the streets and shit and he does have some good songs but he needs to start working on actually building a name in the industry for himself instead of ridin the next mans dick. Messy Marv actually got put in prison for having a fully automatic weapon in his car and not for fucking parking tickets Messy would kill spider lyrically and has put out albums that Spider could never even dream of putting out. Maybe when he quits spending all his time hatin on others he will actually drop an album that people would want to listen to. Peace

I don't think anybody knows or cares who would win a street war between spider and messy marv but the truth is messy has made something of himself and has sold many albums on the underground scene and obviously is making good ass money considering he has a ferrari spider. Spider just needs to make some good music and worry about his own instead of hating on people like messy marv, daz, 2pac, eazy e, dj quik and the list goes on.

At the end of the day it is about music for me. Street cred validates more of what you rap about but outside of that Spider being this super Crip that he always reminds us of all the time does not mean a whole lot. Really that goes for any artist. I'm really not thinking when I pop in a artist's album that "Wow, he is such a great gangbanger :)". As long as the music is good, that is all I care about. If the beef is that serious, catch a fade in the alley or something.
