I have witnessed a THUNDERSTORM on JANUARY 11 (QuietTruth's Birthday Eve my niggas). Yo that shit is crazy!! What the fuckk. I never even HEARD of that shit before. Lighting, thunder, in a month that's supposed to be gettin' blizzards, snow. I got scared.
Have ya'll ever been in a situation like this? Ever? Heard of it?
-
Naw G, tell us all about it.
Did things like trees get struck down or something?? Thunderstorms aren't cool shit i know that, the rare occurances of thunder/lightening we get over here in england still sound scary as shit. :-\
-
Nah, it was loud though. :D
I hear you.
-
LMAO. can't help but find this shit funny. we get em all the time here
-
^ In the dead of 'winter' though? Ya'll gotta be gettin' snow. ???
-
believe it or not, but a couple of years ago i was on a plane that had to fly through a thunderstorm.. and that shit wasn't cool, you'd look out the window and see total darkness then with one flash the whole cabin would be lit up by the lighting then you'd hit some nasty ass turbulence.. lasted for about 30/40 minutes, im usually not too bad when it comes to flying, but on this occassion i was rather nervous, lol.
oh and happy b'day for tomorrow homie 8) +1

Well, if the winter's soft enough, things tend to get a little unstable. It's not very common here either, but then again at the same time not like completely odd either.

lightning doesnt go down. it moves from the ground into the air. true story.
-
i witnessed one in the appallache in my chalet last summer, i was cleanin the boat and a lightning struck the lake not far from me... the sound was incredibly loud so i ran to my chalet. at the same time there were like 5 or 6 lightning i could count and it lasted like 20 minutes

its the potential difference, the ground is always zero, and you got the air which is something like millions of volts, the difference between the twos gets electrical
