Someone set this straight I bought Ghetto Preacher today and I already have The Prodigal Son - but most people refer to these two albums as G Funk Classics
What's up with that?

they can come together as 'g funk classics' vols 1 + 2 - mines like that.
-
G-Funk Classics was released as a double cd. the label later put the discs out separately for some reason.
oh yea, the original death row g-funk classics vol. 1 (ghetto preacher) was put out in some places too, just to confuse you some more ;)
-
Any differences in the tracklisting at all?
In the double CD is Hardest Man in Town still on both CDs?
-
naw, hardest man is only on disc 1 (g preacher)

It also has all the lyrics to the songs in the CD booklet.

That final song on Ghetto Preacher - what are his last words?
-
yeah thats the cd i got, fuckin dope cd i love it
hardest man in town is awesome
-
Hey...This is what happened...Death Row released it as one CD...But then when Nate Dogg left Death Row he had Recorded some more songs and released it as a double CD...So you have the rare 1 CD version...Yours is on DR right?
-
The Tracklisting IS Slightly Different, I Saw Both In The Store The Otherday, And compared Them... I Think The Songs Are Just In A Different Order, Or Something... There's No Extra Songs, Or None Missing, Though.
If I Remember Corrrectly, His Last Words Were He Started Singing The Next Song... I Haven't Heard It In A While Though...

man, y iz it that that CD iz hard 2 find now adayz?
-
Trauma there is only two differences:
1. Ghetto Preacher on its own is missing the final song
2. The Prodigal son on its own has the Hardest Man in Town on.
