Outbound is weak.  We need some real fuckin music / discussions.  So anyway, here's a song that is dope.  Check it out and leave your thoughts, wack or not.

The first thing that hooked me on this song is the saxophone on the hook.  Killer fuckin sample - that sax just whines.  There's also a vocal sample that sounds like Bill Withers, but I could be wrong on that one...Great laid back production, with some really nice accents throughout.  I think the guitar strum loop is a James Brown sample.

This song initially hooked me because of the production, but then when I really focused on the lyrics I realized that this joint was not to be fucked with.  I'm not going to spoil the lyrical content, yall can check that out for yourself.  But just know that the concept, flow, and rhyming is def on point.

The name of this joint is "Morals" and it's by the UMC's, from their album "Fruits of Nature".

I believe the UMC's are from Staten Island.
The production on that first album Fruits Of Nature was the shit !
A WildPitch classic.

I downloaded this album some time before, thinking it was actually an ultramagnetic album lol

then I heard bishop lamont mentioning "blue cheese" in the same sentence as tribe called quest, artifacts and some other legends, and I thought it should really be worth it checking "fruits of nature" out.I listened to half of the album and this track really stood out to me.The sax is fuckin' perfect, beat is really laid back, the MCs are dope, what more can you ask for
