im gettin turntables very soon, but im very confused on what kind of mixer to get. what r the differences between a scratcher mixer, a console mixer and 19" mixer? can some1 explain to me?
-
i'm pretty sure that console mixers, and 19" mixers refer to the kinds used in studio.. a little scratch mixer will be fine.

WHAT MAKE ARE YOUR DECKS?
VESTAX ARE QUITE GOOD ;D
-
Man dont get a cheap mixer bro, cross faders fuck real easy especially on cheap ones. Them things are important if you plan on mixing, if you thinkin about scratchin get some Stantons otherwise your vinyl will get eaten.
-
most allow u to swap over crossfaders nowadays so u can always fit better ones later
-
HAVE A LOOK AT THE DJ INTERNATIONAL MAG !!
THATS QUITE GOOD FOR MIXERS, FADERS AND OTHER DJ STUFF !!
-
true dat..
word of warning "vinyl is an addiction" ;D
-
thanks for all the feedback, anyways what are the best brand of mixers out in the market???
-
The package I plan on buying is by Stanton.
• 2 Stanton STR-8 60 Turntables
• 1 Stanton SK6 Mixer
• 2 Stanton 500al-2 Cartridges
• 2 Stanton Slipmats
It comes out to like $573.00
Do you think this is worth it. Cause I'm trying to sratch.
How are Numark's turntables and mixers? Are they any good?
-
i dunno if stantons decks are any good, all i can remember is that they have some with rounded corners that are good. if you can afford em get technics, gemini do some good decks now the pt2400 is a nice deck.
