that pisses me off because they said it should be out around early to mid july. and i just read the other day that dre is ready to begin recording for the album. that sucks but i know in the end it will be worth the wait expecially for a rakim fan like me. i remember last year there were ads in the source that xzibit would be coming soon and my buddy met xzibit in cancun and xzibit himself said it'd be out by the summer but it got pushed back till december 12. i shit about stuff like that but it was worth the wait though, ah well, peace.

LOL, Rakim and Dre already finished 90% of the album...I predict it will come out mid-2002...By the way, all albums get pushed back like that, AlerG...

as dre said it ain't hot if it don't get pushed back! it means they ain't gone put out some half assed album. the reason ppl got dissappointed by the lastmeal is cos it was so hyped up although i think that it is very very dope not up2 doggystyle which snoop was saying it was better than, but its one of those albums u listen to 6 months later and realise how good it is and realise how much i like all the trax even stacey adams sometimes! having said that i always liked it it just gets better with time is what i'm trying to say

yeah i was somewhat disappointed by those 3 albums that crem mentioned, but really dre produced about 12 tracks collectively and they all were arguably dre quality(greatness) but 9 of them for sure were.Lay Low,U Know, and True Lies are the arguable ones.
Lay Low: very simple on dre standards still dope but gets old fast.
U Know:No counter melodies just the same beat throughout the whole song,no change which is very un-dre,damn dominick knottz, and dre's verse coulda been better, xzibit's too for that matter..
True Lies:great beat BUT dre should know better than to give snoop a slow beat. Word Up: SNOOP CAN'T RAP FOR SHIT ON SLOW BEATS anymore, well maybe he can but he doesn't at least with fast beats he has a CHANCE to flow nice which he at times does, but dre fucked up by givin snoop a slow beat.
but besides that i think dre did great on the tracks he produced on those albums but as whole albums those albums were to an extent disappointing but hey, each of those have some bangers(Kill You,I'm Back,Remember Me,Who Knew,Criminal,Best Of Things,Get Your Walk On,Loud & Clear,Sorry I'm Away So Much,Front 2 Back,Hennessey N Buddah,Go Away,Brake Fluid,Ya'll Gone Miss Me,Set It Off)
