I saw the video on BET today. Its some tight shit. Eric Sermon and Marvin go together well. Its a shame Marvin got killed. What a waste of talent.

apparently erick is one of the only people to have that marvin gaye song he sampled, cuz it was a limited edition pressing or sumthin.
yet another useless fact you can impress your friends with at dinner parties ;)

I'm surprised that you're surprised people like this song.... as soon as i heard they had a cut together I knew that shit would be BIG... I thought It'd be even bigger than it is now.
Especially if you were into Marvin Gaye Before... Grape Vine, Let's Get It On, Sexual Healing, If This World Were Mine...He was tight ;)
-

After the success of this song a gang of artists are gonna be beggin Motown (I think it was his label) and try to get clearence for him to be on their songs. I hope so at least.
-

got this from mtv.com
According to Bernard Alexander, Sermon's co-manager, Sermon had a limited release, special edition of the late singer's 1982 Midnight Love LP, which included outtakes of Gaye singing a cappella during some never-before-heard studio sessions.
-
sheeeeit, i got that cd that it's sampled from....it's on disc two, song 8 and 9. you can download them, they're called "turn on some music (alternate vocal/mix)" and "i've got my music (original vocal version of "turn on some music)." that cd isn't very hard to find, he'll i got it for $10 at some place here in california. it's not that great of a cd...........
