i'm planning to do a westcoast internet-portal where i'll gather ALL quality westcoast sites i can find (and also rate them). i will also have headlines witch is direct-links to te page, a little bit like the old www.aka.com, but only westcoast-sites.......
is it a good or bad idea....would y'all with westcoast-sites be interested and link me??+

its a good plan, i was thinking of doing it a while back.. iGangsta actually means 'internet Gangsta'
at the moment theres just overseers personal top sites on the front page
www.westcoastaffiliatez.com will be the portal for the WCA sites.. there are now 2 tiers of affililates - dpgc2k runs all that bizz

westcoastaffiliatez is only going to be a dpg and deathrow-site (i think).....but i wanna include bay side and all the others

Not sure... WC Killaz covers a lot of Bay Related stuff.. but you are right WCA as whole is heavily dpg/deathrow influenced - as much as the west coast is visibly from the outside I guess.
It depends on your view of a portal.. I was thinking more along the lines of having a broken down 'directory' of the west coast sites out there.
I wasn't planning on doing all the news related stuff like aka.com did (and www.rapmusic.com now does)
If you have any questions about hosting/domain registration (many pitfalls here), or just have something you wanna run by the folks here dont hold back.
