2nd II None - Classic 220
Suga Free - Street Gospel
these two are the best no doubt..... so good it's disgusting
-
then you got... "New Testament" by Suga Free and "Non Fiction" by Mausberg, which he produced the bulk of those albums
those are crazy beats too...
and the 2nd II None debut, but that's real old school

Hands down the first 2nd II none those beats should've been for WAY 2 Fonky the others like Suga Free and Konnected Mausberg had alot of George G 1 Archie influence but when he worked with Robert Bacon that shit was magic RIP Mausberg (U still mad like a Pit my nigga)

Yeah, Classic 220 had some RIDICULOUS beats. 220 sounded decent on the beats, they didn't have anything memorable like how Quik and Suga Free have done on those type of beats.
Street Gospel is probably the best one. Mausberg's was dope, but not quite as strong as those two, or even The New Testament, production wise, outside of a few tracks.
I wish Quik would do a R&B artist's album, because he could show off how versatile and musically gifted he is. Rap fans don't appreciate his musicianship as much. He could even do a Jazz album better than ANY other producer in rap.
