I think Dwight is determined to take it this time...I wish there were more participants, though.

I put my 2 cents on Moon .. I dont like the idea of fans voting at all though
-
fans voting kills it imo...the judges ride nuts to though so its basically a popularity contest regardless ...Howard will probably win although with his height he wont be judged as fairly as he should
-
Gerald Green
-
Jamario Moon
-
Gerald Green. Dude is sick wit it.
-
Im going for Jamrio Moon, but yeah I wish they went back to 8 participants
-
Probably Howard, i'm not really liking the participants in these last two years, they need to get fuckin Iguadala and Smith back in there
-
Moon is taking this

Only If Dwight Howard can Do Some 89' Kenny "Sky" Walker SHit... 8)
(Which IMO, is one of the Greatest Dunk Performances ever, Dazling Dunk's & Basketball Blooper's tape Popped watching those...lol)
Word to "Juicy".. (B.I.G.)
I defo think Howard has The leap's to do it..
But The Participant's are not really that exciting to honor a Dunk Contest.
Where is Nate?

LeBron and Wade don't have an arsenal of dunks... they know they'd lose, and it would fuck with their ego.

Moon guarantees dunk victory (http://www.torontosun.com/Sports/Basketball/2008/02/16/4851650-sun.html)
By MIKE GANTER, SUN MEDIA
NEW ORLEANS -- Jamario Moon is guaranteeing a win in tonight's all-star dunk competition.
The 27-year-old rookie who was getting ready for the CBA playoffs this time last year with the Albany Patroons says he will fly higher, dunk better and ultimately draw more votes from the NBA public to best the likes of Dwight Howard, who nearly won last year's dunkoff, Gerald Green who did win it, and Memphis high-flyer Rudy Gay, who already has been crowned chief trash talker of the much anticipated event.
"I got it," Moon said. "I've got it in my pocket right now." Moon said smiling. "I believe in me and I'm sure those guys believe in what they do. But I think I've got some nice dunks. I've got a couple (in reserve) in case they do something crazy and make me go a little deeper into the hat. I believe in myself."
Moon, though, says he takes a back seat to Gay when it comes to stirring it up.
"I don't think Rudy liked my YouTube video," Moon said. "He said he thought I was trying to call him out a little bit. It's nothing personal."
Gay admitted he phoned Howard to talk a little trash a few days ago. Howard says it won't alter his game. He did say he may be donning a slightly different uniform for at least one of his dunks.
Moon will be assisted by teammate Jason Kapono, who is here to defend his three-point shooting title.
Kapono, like all the Raptors, is very protective of divulging too much about the dunks Moon is planning.
Raptors assistant coach Jay Triano and guard Juan Dixon have been Moon's chief dunk strategists.
Creativity has become just as important in this event as athleticism.
Moon has been in three dunk contests before this one and has yet to win.
He lost the dunk contest in the CBA last year to Anthony Richardson.
"It was a hometown thing because any time a hometown guy is in the dunk contest he tends to win," Moon said.
He finished third the year before that and lost a dunk contest in high school to Gerald Wallace of the Charlotte Bobcats.
Moon, however, remains confident of his chances tonight.
"This one will blow all the other one's away," Moon said.

pretty much sums it up for me. Dwight Howard will never win the dunk contest. Bigs dont win this type of thing.
-
Judges have made a lot of wrong/suspect choices throughout the years, I have no problem with fans voting now. My money is on Moon but I don't give a fuck.
-
man Moon disappointed the fuck outta me for real. I know he could of pulled off that free throw dunk, he did in practice. He just mis-timed his step, fuckin b.s..his first dunk was straight
gay was just awful lol
green was pretty nice, that birthday cake shit was hella cool..the dunk with his shoes off was sick as well, but he fucked up by doin the same dunk he had done in his previous attempt :-\ the 1st east bay funk was SICK though
Howard was on another level though, wow. his first dunk set the tone, that was banannas 8) the dunk with the little rim that topped it off was dope..as was the dunk were he slapped the ball off the backboard with 1 hand and caught/dunked it with the opposite
all in all, great slam dunk contest 8)
ohh and props to my boy kapono for killin the 3 pt contest for the 2nd year in a row
LOL at d-wade performance :D

-
^It wasn't bad like you're making it seem...Everyone pulled off some pretty sick dunks, even Rudy Gay. I also thought it was weak that Dwight didn't really dunk that Superman one, though. And what was up with people booing Dr. J when he was speaking? LOL.
-
LOL at some talking shit .. if you dont think Howard dunks werent impressive :-X... you aware of Dwight height and weight right ? find another big body man like him able to do this then come talking shit ... Green cake one was dope .. Gay was nothing special and Moon didn't live up to the hype
-
yeah I cant believe Moon didnt live up to the hype. Dwight was amazing tho, his dunks were CRAZY!
-
the cake one was bananas u fuckin nuts? its sitting AT THE TOP of a TEN FOOT RIM and he blew the thing out THEN dunked it, wish I had the ups, and Dwight killed it, his head was still behind the backboard on that one dunk. They booed Dr J. cuz he talked to much, the crowd was gettin restless lol
-
eye thought the blew out candles dunk was crazy... and that dwight was kind of overrated especially with that superman dunk
-
i liked the candle one
-
