Wow this is bullshiet. Turkoglu or Josh Smith deserved that spot.
-
Another terrible move by the league.
-
maybe jews are not the best at piccin reserves?
i mean this laker groupie wanted gasol to be a reserve for the east at center.
???
-
thats bullshit, josh smith deserved it. the nba gotta get off the pistons dick. sheed & rip don't deserve to be there :-\
-
Yeah Smith definitely deserved it
-
Rasheed Wallace? Seriously??
No disrespect to him, he's having a decent season.
But there are other players more deserving; Josh Smith, Gerald Wallace Iguodala, Turkoglu or Richard Jefferson all should be considered before Sheed.
-
good call

yep, this is fuckin bullshit! I cant believe this, they already have 2 pistons on there who are questionable allstars. I mean I guess Billups should be but you could make a case for other guys over Hamilton and Sheed, not to mention I am not a fan of the Pisstons or any of there players.
-
Seriously, I would take Smith or Hedo over Sheed, its a no brainer. Calderon is going way under the radar too, nobody is mentioning what hes done this season. Hes a top 5 PG in the league right now. Book it.

Do you think it's cool to sound like a crippin Nazi or something? LOL.

sheed is an all star
-
sheed is an all star
No doubt, he's a great player. But it's true, other players like Smith or Hedo deserved it more, probably.
-
theres no denying that when sheed comes to play his one of the best big guys in the league but i think he dosent come to play too often to warrant an all star selection. Orlando are 3rd in the conference and turk's last month has been staggering. joke that he hasnt been giving the od.
-
I still dont get why they would put 3 players from Detroit on the roster, especially when there is at least 5-6 more guys who are more deserving than Rasheed Wallace. Even Prince deserves it more over Rasheed IMO, but he wouldnt make my roster either :P
-
bad move. Turk Deserved that spot sooooo much more.
anyway, i think rasheed got it because he's more of a familiar face with basketball fans and the powers that be thought it'd be financially more beneficial to put him in over someone like turk or Smith who don't have any marketing appeal. but still. from a fan's POV this is BULLSHIT.

I dissagree. I think Josh Smith has marketing appeal. Hes a former Slam Dunk champ, and I dont know anyone who doesnt like his game. Rasheeds most known stat is for leading the league in technicals every year and being a fucking prick. Those are the guys you would figure they WOULDNT be trying to push as non-deserving allstarts.

and i disagree with that. Sheed potentially blowing his top and causing drama >>>>>>anyone who wins the slam dunk contest after Vince Carter to the casual basketball fan/the nba's marketing department.
i don't like that Train of Thought either but that's business. Turk should be ont he roster before both of them as far as i'm concerned.

Lol. 'Sheed even said he didn't want to be selected. He had to cancel a family vacation to attend the game. It's a sad day when The League selects players to the All-Star Game that don't even wan to go.

he just wants to be a dick as usual...he didnt have to accept...all-star weekend is a fuckin joke
-
if he didn't want it, WHY ACCEPT?! this whole situation is starting to urk me.
-
Sheed's had 20 single digit scoring games this season and only 11 double digit rebounding games...This selection has to be one of the worst selections ever.
