Title: 2pac Pre-Death Row

Does anyone know if there will be more pre-Death Row albums of unreleased material like R U Still Down?
I always prefered the production of 2pac's first two albums.

I feel ya. The way he rapped before joining the Row was much better. He had more emotion. Not as much Thug Life shit either. The next album will probably be based on all the Makaveli unreleased songs.

The 7 Day Theory was the only DRow album that had as much emotion as his earlier releases...

Yeah, I prefer pre Death Row 'Pac any day. But that's not saying I can't feel Makaveli 'Pac though. He had a lot of anger during his Death Row stay, were as before, it seemed like fustration, and symbathy for his fellow ghetto children. Anyways, I do gotta say one thing, I prefer the producers he had at Death Row, and mainly Daz. Johnny J was around somewhat before Death Row, mainly during Thug Life. Him and Daz made the best beats for 'Pac. as All Eyez On Me was almost completely produced by them two. I do feel the Bay sounding 'Pac. but come on, I'm from SoCal, it's all about that old school Death Row shit.

Yeah Makaveli was tight. Songs like White Man'z World and Against All Odds were deep.

Me Against the world and All Eyez on me are 2 of hip hops 2 best records ever.... and they display 2pac buetifully, on MATW it displays more emotional loving and conscience side and on All Eyez on me it displays pac's more thugish raw and venomous side

i agree with jake. those two albums are amazing. so is makaveli and those bootlegs (most of them), Pac really showed all his emotions over that era. really incredible shit

i liked his earlier work but i think with MATW and then the death row stuff he really peaked as an artist. maybe it wasnt as raw, but for me a lot of it was perfect both lyrically and musically

Yo I'm new here but the only reason Tupac was all thug shit and that when he moved to Deathrow was because he was told to be like that from Suge Knight to get him to a wider audience. I fucking h8 Suge Knight. But Tupac was all real life shit before he joined Deathrow in which he started the Thug Shit and kinda lost the plot a bit there. His hardman image was all made up by Suge Knight and the way he acted aswell. You can really say Suge Knight kinda ruined him like Eminem and Dre. Eminem has lost it a bit because he hangs around too much with Dre but it's good to see he's going back to old roots by joining up with his old group D-12. :rollin
