all these people talking about how hip hop is dead and it sucks and all this other stuff. why dont you just stop listening to it? and go listen to what is alive? if you dont like dont listen to it. dont hate on it and down something that others may like. some people like solja man and shit like that, let them. doesnt make them any less human because thats there taste in music. thats like some one hating on you for listening to wu tang or someone else. so what im saying is if you dont like something ignore it. dont judge a genre of music on a few artist and there music. look at it as a whole and pick and choose your likings.

i ignore most new rap music, shit most new music, but i can still have an opinion about it, and thats what forums are for, and for most, its not as easy as ignoring, they are anoyed and angry that hip hop has turned to such shit, just like rock did in the late 70s and 80s, and what do you mean look at it as a whole, rap as a genre is so huge that you have to break it down.

if peoples words dont get out then how will anyone know how we feel about it.  Ignoring a problem doesn't make it go away.
