Young Rook & J Black Serve "The Customers" - February 12, 2008 By : Eddie
We're back with some new music from Young Rook today! This time, he's teamed up with J Black, whom you'll recognize from his work with Snoop Dogg & Terrace Martin, for a smooth cut called "The Customers".
C-Ballin, the producer behind Young Rook & Tone P's "2 For 1" project, also worked his skills behind the boards on this one, and the result is pure quality! Check out the song below.

I had downloaded this track on February 13th but I forgot to listen to it until somewhere last week, but dammit man! This shit sounds good 8) Nice beat by C-Ballin', I like that organ sound. And it was the first time I heard Young Rook, but the dude has managed to grab my attention.
Plus, usually a chorus doesn't "make" a song, but this guy J Black delivered one hell of a catchy chorus for this song. It keeps playing on & on in my head. I also like how the engineer or the person who mixed this record put some reverb on J Black's chorus after Young Rook's third verse. That makes it sound even better...
Seriously, this is worth checking out. Too bad that lots of people are sleeping on it though.
I'm downloading the mixtape as we speak ;)
By the way, on what other songs has that singer J Black appeared? Fill me in...I'd like to check out his work on those songs.

Glad you're feeling it!
J Black is all over the Snoop "Big Squeeze" compilation, he also appears on Terrace Martin's mixtape i think. He was originally on the hook of Roscoe Umali's "Live It Up" too
