He recorded different versions of "Self & Kind" during these years, what I think is that labels just don't wanna sign him and it's a shame!

Dude shut up. Kam never worked at 7-11. He stays doing features. Dude is also an activist for the Muslim community, I'm sure he gets paid to speak. Look at the time it took between Made in Amerikka and Kamnesia. That was almost 7 years as well. Dude drops albums when he feels comfortable with the situation he's in.

Do you have a stick up your ass? LOL. Relax. Shit was a joke, not meant for you to get all hurt over.

There's no market for Kam anymore. Dude was dope back in the day, he just doesn't have the same feel anymore.

I was being sarcastic about Omar. On the real though there never was a market for Kam. That's why I think he just release all his album through Paris and Guerrilla Funk.

kam is workin like you said before he is just workin at his pace....besides regardless to weither or not "i dont think so"was released, it was hot and it really didnt get a whole lot of airplay anywhere.  there are alot of dope artist that i think maybe give up, not completely but at least enough to slow the process why down, mainly because radio and record labels are full of politics and bullshit.  I heard "i dont think so" on shade 45 more then i heard it on local (so cal) radio station.  This is where dude stays and they cant even show him love like they should....its bullshit

That's good to hear. Hopefully it'll work out for Kam to release an album. Been looking forward to it...
And I can't say I stand behind that "there's no market for Kam nowadays"-idea. I hear where you're coming from, but if even we - the fans - start having that laisser-faire attitude, then of course nothing will change. I feel more like we gotta fight against that whole idea. How? Good question. I guess by continuing to support these artists, in everything they do, whether it's mixtapes, shows, etc...

I Don't Think So is still in regular rotation.

yeah but that whole mixtape thing came and went,
bishop is droppin classic street albums.  he crushed the mixtape game and is goin hard.
what has kam, sly boogy, xzibit, others, what have they done?
the fans do support kam and others?  as others would say, their name is in people mouths (no homo) cuz they like his muzik, but no release from him?
can the fans folx.
many would buy a kam album over a snoop album.
but no kam album to buy!
he can make his own market, fuck is he waitin for jimmy cracc for?????

I made a thread about Paris & Guerrilla Funk recently.  Kam is scheduled to actually release his album this year through GF.  However, there is no firm release date yet.

that's good news, so i guess it will feature production and guest features by Paris as well?

Ren is cool with Paris, so i hope he's on kam's album too.

hopefully he got more dre beats, next to murder these murderers.
