Devean George is currently playing tonight.
17 minutes: 0 Points (0-6 FG, 0-3 3PFG, 0-2 FT), 0 Rebounds, 2 Assists, 1 Steal
He's got to be the most hated man in Dallas right now.

LOL...Devean George actually got the start tonight.
0-11 FG, 0-4 3FG, 0-2 FT. :-X
Is that what he used his no trade clause for?
-

Unless Dallas has a change of heart...George is going to the Nets...or face being the most hated man texas
-
how can a player as irrelevant as he is have a no-trade clause ??? ??? ??? I thought Kobe was the only one having one? WTF
-
I thought For Sure Devean was The next "Former" Laker Player To excell on his Own...
IE: C. Butler, K. Rush Ect... (Hopefully Critt & Kwame)
But Danm!! he had A Horrible game tonight. :-X
Too Much shit Going Down Right Now.
He Will Come around Tho eventualy. $
And he Might/Should get Some More Playing Time in N.J. But without a Kidd to pass it To You, why Bother. (Prob His Thinking)
(Going from a winning team To a losing team Must suck ass..)
-
Dallas will thank George , trust me .. this trade is dumber than the Suns one ..

Devean George hit his prime in that one contract year he had with us...It was all downhill from then on.

they give waaaay to many no trade clauses these days.
-
They explained on ESPN that George used the No Trade clause as he has something in his contract that states when he becomes a free agent (which is after this season) his team (Dallas) are able to offer him more money in a sign and trade deal. If he went to another team he wouldn't be able to do that. So apparently it was financial reason.
I also read that Mark Cuban does not want to use Van Horn for whatever reason...

Using Van Horn's contract will hurt him due to the luxury tax.

If this trade doesn't go down, Devean George will be assassinated. Mark it.

I don't get Mark Cuban... nigga is ballin. And this trade only makes sense if they make a VERY serious run for the CS. And to do that you need players like Diop.

There's only one real no-trade clause in the NBA. The rest are limited, and they have it due to league rules.
Read the article, it explains it in there.
