i want to make sure everybody reads the thread "ATTENTION-EVERYONE" cause it has new info about tupac's murder that came out in Rolling Stone magazine.so please peep that thread. i wrote a lot of things on there, including some strong opinions about suge's involvement. but when you read them just remember that this hits real close to home for me and others around me so im sorry for my long winded posts and my emotional feelings.
my last post on that thread i was real down. so i wanted to leave you with something positive. OH MY GOD is getting close to completion. rakim has spent a lot of time in new york working with the great dj premier on tracks. and they are close to completing their work for the album. after dre finishes the wash, rakim will be in la working with dre and mel-man to finish up and put the exclamation point on this atomic bomb. i can't wait til you hear it. dre still has a few things up his sleeve. he is really intent on making this an instant classic. just hold on and be patient and you will truly be blown away. also, the soundtrack for diablo will not come out until 2002. dre continues to work on some collabs but the focus is on aftermath releases. thats it for a while. PEACE.

Ever since I heard Dre had hooked up with Rakim.. and that primo was going to be involved I've not blinked for a second.. I've felt 'oh my god' is gonna be a classic.. without a doubt - some of that 3001 shit! ;D

yeah overseer is right cause sometimes when you hype up yourself a lot the album seems like a dissapointment at first

this will not be a disappointment to a hip-hop lover, although i can see it might be a disappointment to a straight up westcoast listener. it's gonna be tight, i hope y'all have some of Rakim's other shit so you are somewhat prepared for what is to be dropped in the near future.

Hey I can understand that. I think I over-hyped myself for "Restless." I mean, I was SO HYPED UP for that album that even though it was pretty good I was a tad disapointed. I'll try not to do that in the future.

i'm also guilty of hyping this album up too much. ill keep you updated on how its proceeding and release dates but ill quit hyping it up so much. the last thing i want to do is put the expectations up too high. but its probably too late so i apologize. its just hard to contain my excitement. and dre and rakim are putting the pressure on themselves to make this a classic and they are definetly giving it everything they have with a lot of sweat, hard work and passion. everyone involved is extremely confident of how great the final result is gonna be. but keep a realistic expectation until you hear it. and ill do my best to control my emotions and just stick to the facts. later.
