Today's topic is Self Construction.... 
 

Something positive is going on in Hip-Hop for a change! It's about time things get balanced out and artists once again obtain some meaning to their music.

Like we reported last week, KRS-One is starting up the Stop The Violence Movement once again and spent the weekend of Feb. 7-9 locked up inside of the Los Angeles Recording Studio with 55 other artists including The Game, Nelly, Fat Joe and more.

KRS has just released this video via Myspace TV documenting the monumental event!

Good to see shit like this go down.  Hopefully they can practice what they preach.

Seemed to be very few WC artists there.  WTF?  They in LA.

i think he had the LA enclosed in a red star a few weeks ago, according to some video posted.

I thought it would look a lot more noticeable, but it doesn't look as huge as i imagined.

anyways, thats a lot of artists!

Since most artists don't actually kill or assault people, I don't think that's too much of a stretch to ask.  8)

But yes, there didn't seem to be a lot of Cali artists there. This was done during Grammy week which is why artists from other regions were easily popping in and out of the studio.

Props Styles that was a cool video and good news.

When do we get to hear the track?  I was upset when they were showing the different artists in the booth and then it went to that lady and all the talking and shit..  still was cool to see all the artists joking with each other.

Were you there Styles?
