It needs to be known that to me Quik is the better all around producer. It shows in his sounds. For instance, that snare he used on the Rythmalism album for" We still party" he sampled in a bathroom to get that echo effect. Listen to Young Jeezy ft. The Game game even asked "Dj Quik produced this" To me it's a no brainer, but to all my fellow Dubcnnianz I ask what do you think??? Oh yeah did I forget to mention Truth Hurts single (produced by Quik) was the biggest selling single for Aftermath hmmmmm??? Interesting Huh??? I'm not hating on Dre,but he does have good ears for sounds , he can't lay em down like Quik! Put Dr.Dre in one studio byhimself no Keyboardists, Focus , Khalil, Hi Tek, or Mike Elizondo and Quik in the other, and see who would make a classic in 2 hrs. You be tha judge!!!! While your voting slip on The Fixxers cut "So Good" and listen to Galaga play !! Chuuuch ??? 8) ;D

this is a tough question..all the hardcore dre fans are going to choose dre and all the dj quik groupies like myself are going to pick quik. All i have to say is both producers work with others to make their beats..dre more so than quik..but even quik has people playing live instruments other than himself..worked alot with g-one and rob bacon, courtney branch and tracy kendrick... i mean i like quik's sound more than dre's... but they are both great producers!

Of course both of Dre & Quik are dope but the producers that you named are in my opinion as dope. In this list you also can add Cold 187um, he does sick beats!

I think they should do what everyone is waiting for them 2 to do & "Put An Album Together" [A DOUBLE ALBUM]. Forget seperatin' em, put em both in the studio, give 'em a freezer/fridge full of food, lock the facility & don't let 'em out until tha album is complete. That's wut I'm talkin' bout !!!
