Coz i've been listening to his solo album (The Gift) for quite a while now and i have to say that lyricaly he is amazing.
What do u all think.
-
Bizzy as a lyricalist, from 1 to 10, I'd say about a 8.5. Now as for flows, 10 all the way.
-
now, that album is tite as fuck, but i just can't figure out what the fuck the dude is saying 90% of the time......
-
That's cuz you have to play it backwards...
-
LMAO@NIK!
You gotta interpret his lyrics. And what makes it harder is his fast flow. I liked it when he put the lyrics in the booklet for "HEaven'z Movie". Then you could understand it easily. The strange thing is he makes perfectly good sense.
-
two words to describe bizzy bone - fuckin excellent
-
my 2 words would be 'fuckin annoying'.
-
Ho wis he annoying? Eminem is more annoying than Bizzy in my opinion.
-
Of course Em is more annoying then Bizzy, when I first listened to Em's new stuff I thought it was good then It slowly got crapper. If you want to see Em at his best you need the SlimShady EP not LP.
-
His voice is to squecky and his flow is just fucked up.
-
Well thats your opinion I guess.
-
"Slim ShadyEP" was horrible...the LP was 098436509865 times better...I don't know how you can even say the EP is better...It had like what 4 or 5 songs? Maybe u got confused, I dunno...
-

To Rud
The Gift is a devestating album and definetly worth getting
-
You have to concentrate to listen to his music. Otherwise you won't understand it.
-
each time you listen to it, it sounds different. ive listened to the whole album like 400,000 times.
-
I love that album! I agree with what M-Dogg said.
Keep listening to it, if you don't understand the lyrics, you'll catch on.
I LOVE listening to it while I'm high ;D
Fried Day is one of my favorite weed songs!
-
SSEP is way better than SSLP. One of my favorite EMinem songs is Low Down, Dirty. He had that flow I wish he kept today. Infinite is aiight but I don't think he was as experienced as now.
The Gift is wierd because everytime I listen to it there is a different message. Its like hearing a new album over and over again. And some of the stuff he says you gotta think it over. I guarantee you he disses a bunch of people but no one knows yet.
-
OK..."Slim Shady EP" had almost the same tracks as the LP except for "Murder Murder", "Low Down Dirty" and "No One's Iller" and that's only 3 tracks...The other songson the EP were "If I had", "Bonnie and Clyde 97" and "Just Don't give a Fuck" which were all released on the LP...the LP had songs some amazing songs produced by Dre and amazing songs like "Guilty Consience","Rock Bottem", "Bad Meets Evil", "Role Model", "As The Worl Turns", "I'm shady", "Brain damage" plus 3 of the 6 songs from the EP, and many more....Now you tell me HOW THE FUCK is "Slim ShadyEP" better than the LP???????!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
I think the tracks you mentioned that were on the EP are what make SSEP so good. Those are some classic songs in my opinion. Your right about the songs Dre produced too so I would have to say both albums are about even.

peace
-
YEH I AGREE THAT SUM OF THA DRE DRACKS ON SSLP R GUD..
BRAIN DAMAGE
IM SHADY
BAD MEETS EVIL
BUT I THINK THE SSEP WAS STILL AS GUD LIKE ASSASSIN SED AS HIS LYRICS WERE JUST CHANGED FROM HIS EMINEM EGO ON INFINITE 2 HIS SHADY SIDE ON THA EP -
peace
-
now, that album is tite as fuck, but i just can't figure out what the fuck the dude is saying 90% of the time......
exactly!!!!!
Nuff said....
-
Man, That Album The Gift Is Straight Classic... I'm Serious... The Beats Are Great, Really Good, They Fit His Style... The Same Guy Did all Of Them, And I've Never Heard Of Him...
The First Time I heard It, I Was Like... Damn, Nice Album....
The Second Time I Heard It, I Heard "Yall Ain't Payin' Me; That's O.K., I Don't Hang With FAggots"...
....
..... ..... It Took Me A While, Then I Went.... "OH SHIT, REWIND THAT, REWIND THAT" LOL
That Song "Jesus" Is AWESOME, He Did An Interview Saying That He Didn't Think People In Rap Had Their Mind Right... Most Of His Lyrics Are Pretty Responsible... he Has a LOT To Say On That Album... You'll Hear Him Talk About Pac, Bone, Eazy, Life, Love, Hate, War, Etc. Etc.
"Don't Jessssusss Makeeee yaaaa Feeellll Gooddddd.... .don'tt Jesssusss Makeeee Ya Feeeeeeeelllll Goodddd????" That Song's Real
Lyricist He's At Least a 9, Flow Wise, He's A 10. He's Slept On, Definately...
-
I agree with you Trauma.
That album is amazing and i can't believe it got slept on so much. but then again thats the case with most BONE stuff nowadays.
But lyricaly bizzy honestly does make loads of rappers today look daft. I think in hip hop TODAY he is easily in the top 10 best lyicists.
Also some of the beats in "The Gift" are definetly different and unique but go so well with Bizzys style.
-
Yall Remember That Night Rider Like Beat, On Track 5 Or 6 Or Somethin? It's The One Where He Goes "As I Sit In Jail, Readin' Mom's Mail... Hell!"
That Beat's So Fuckin' Tight... LOL Everytime I Hear It, I'm Like, It's A Shame There Ain't Nobody To Talk To About This Shit, This Beat Is The SHIT! WHOOOO!
His Flow On That Song Is Off The Hook; He's Got Like 5 Different Voices, He's All Mad... It's A Very Pac-Like Song...
-
I like it cause it was somethin new. The Gift is nothin like other albums out there. You can't compare it to another album. He goes so fast he probably says twice as much stuff as other artists can say in one song. I know he dissed alot of people on that album too. Its just that you can't figure it out LOL.
-
Da_Assassin i agree its definetly something new and can't be compared to anything else.
But i consider the GIFT to have the slowest tracks ever made by BIZZY. EVERYTHING IS PERFECTLY UNDERSTANDABLE.
As for disses, he attacks TWISTA and SPEEDNOT MOBSTERS. and makes a few references to Krayzie and Wish. (saying they dissed him, but fuck it we got history.)
-
Yeah i gotta agree with what Trauma said... very slept on album here... i always thought this shit was a classic!
Peace
-
i go wit tha homie bone thugz are shit & cant rap full stop
-
You got the full stop right but remember to start with a capital letter next time.
You'll learn to read and write someday Kilo!
;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
-
That Was WAYYYYY Uncalled For....
-
Read all the posts he's been making Trauma, he's a straight hater. I respect peoples opinions but only if they respect other peoples opinions as well.

Sorry, It Just Irks Me When People Talk Shit About Other Peoples Vocab Skills, When We All Cut Corners, Use Slang, And Half-Ass Everything...
This Ain't No English Lesson :)
But I Feel Where You're Coming From...
-
Oh yeah it weren't that - he said FULL STOP as if that was it - all the other 20 or so opinions were wrong - so I picked him up on that
