After stepping down as President of Def Jam months ago, rumors continue to run about Jay-Z's next move. After it became apparent that he would be leaving the Def Jam family altogether, rumor had it that he would create a "super label" with his spouse/collaborator Beyonce after her Sony contract was up. Now, the NYdailynews.com is hearing unconfirmed reports that Jay is indeed planning his own new record label, Carter Music Group. Reportedly. after Jay teams up with Warner Music Group's head Lyor Cohen to form the new label, Jay will partner with former enemy-on-wax Nas on a full album of duets, The Kings of Hip Hop, to be released on the label early next year.

Even if it did come out, both these guys are way past their prime and lacking in stellar beats.

well, this shit ain't new to me...they already planned a collab album after their first joints together, late '06/early '07... this came from a reliable source, a hit factory engineer...but according to him it was scrapped cause def jam thought that their fan bases were too different...
