Phoenix got worse, Utah can't D the perimeter, NO is too young .. seems like only SAS, LA and Dallas are real contenders to me .. I'd like to see Denver in the 1st round, that's the easiest match up we can get imo ..

13.5 pts on 50 % 10 boards and 3.5 assists are the worst stats I've ever seen for a 3rd soon to be 4th option  ::)

It's only 6 games into the trade, and if Shaq is going to even fit with the Suns, it will take time for sure. And with the exception of last night's loss to Philadelphia, their losses have all come to top teams. I saw that they were trying to pick-up Brent Barry, but now are looking to Gordon Giricek, which would be a solid move if he can start shooting like he did last year.

The Suns did have the best record before the trade, so to slip to 2-4 is pretty bad. I don't see Shaw preforming any better then he is right now. Anyways its the playoffs that matter for this team, so when they get bounced in the first or second round, then you can criticize all you want.

LMFAO@anyone who expected this trade to work for the Suns...the funniest are the people who suggested that Shaq would help the Suns defensively. I'm sure Laker fans remember, the biggest knock on Shaq during the 3peat era was that his team defense was terrible... he would screw our perimeter players by never moving his ass on screen-and-roles and couldn't switch to save his life. I haven't had this much fun watching the NBA in quite some time. ;D

the Suns could've traded for Garnett

Nash-Stoudimire-Garnett would've been NASTY

Yeah I think Minnesota wanted Amare + Atlanta's 1st round pick in addition to any expiring contracts they had. As much as I like Amare, I would've done that deal if I was Phoenix.

It was even worse, with Shaq. Shaq was an excellent defender, when he wanted it. The problem was that you had to give him the ball in offence for him to move his ass on defence. I still remember when he litterally refused to defend when he was pissed off cause Bryant was taking more shots than him. He was always been a child. A wonderful basketball player with the IQ of a duck. And if you consider he was been DOMINANT for years with that IQ, you can only immagine how great he could have been if he was as professional as Duncan, Mourning, Olajuwon, etc..

The owner didn't want that trade for financial reasons. Looks like Phoenix is done in being a regular season monster.

if they can't play defense against premier teams (everyone puts 120 on them) they may end up with the 9th best record
