Tough choice in my opinion as both are dope in terms of lyrics, flow, beat, concept, etc.
-
why we things? ;D

why we things? ;D
Oh shit. my bad!
as I have said in a previous thread before. "Gangster rap made me do it" is like a "hand of a dead body" part 2. So I would have compared them instead...
Understandable but I am looking at in terms of Cube's first official videos from LNCL and Raw Footage.

tough 1 but i say why we thugs
-
any ohter songs leaked from raw footage?

Why We Thugs

Co-sign. Yeah WWT is a little bit more uptempo and Cube has a nice cadence to the beat. GRMMDI is a more slow bangin beat and Cube has a slower more sinister flow on it. COMPLETELY different moods. I dig both so it's no comparison for me.

it's all subjective indeed ;) i mean, i prefer the beat of Why We Thugs, but it's a typical club track.
the beat of Gangsta Rap Made me do it is slower, and a bit boring IMO, but the concept is clever and the video is great.
i wish he made a more uptempo remix for it though; i thought his flow is at it's best when rapping on such beats, like on Amerikkka's most wanted.

Yep,but Laconic compared them because;

So you like Amerikkka´s Most wanted?
You don´t like slow beats?
that's not what i said, i said i like Ice Cube's flow on uptempo beats, like straight outta compton, fuck tha police, amerikkka's most wanted, tha bomb, endangered species etc.
i don't have a problem with slow beats in general, it just depends on the artist ;)

Gangsta Rap Made Me Do It...
Better lyrics, Hook...i also like the beat more.
-
"Gangsta Rap" no doubt
"Why We Thugs" lacks in the beat department, was not feelin what Scott Storch did at all
he sounds more pissed off on "Gangsta Rap"
-
Why We Thugs for me.
-
"Why We Thugs" because I can't listen to "Gangsta Rap Made Me Do It" anymore.
-
Love both tracks but overall I like "Gangsta Rap Made Me Do It" a bit more
-
What a dumb post.
-
