And now? I love that boy Kurupt, he's insane MC plus very good lyricist, one of the best on the West. Damn I can't forget Warren G, that's lyrical monster too.

Does somebody here bang people from Stones Throw? (R.I.P. J Dilla). They are pretty talented, I mean Madlib's production is one of the dopest ever. He's got great lyrics on that album with J Dilla (Jaylib - Champion Sound). Or some Quasimoto's quotes are really dope. Btw. Quasimoto = Madlib, for somebody who doesn't know.

If you're questioning Lady of Rage, you obviously haven't heard enough lady of rage or know her standing as an MC. She could kill most MCs on the west coast, and can hold her own with a lot of East coast MCs - listen to the verses she spit over primo beats on her debut and on the track Unfucwitable - she has crazy flows and wordplay and kills the delivery every time, she's also known for never having dropped a wack verse
When the Chronic and Doggystyle dropped real hiphop heads were all looking at Lady of Rage and Kurupt because they were west coast MCs on some east coast complex lyricism shit. people were feeling snoops personality and that he had a unique style, but rage and kurupt were the ones spitting real fire

Preach. Yeah both Rage and Kurupt are from the east but they style on the mic is str8 westcoast. I listened to Doggystyle and The Chronic first to hear what kind of guest appearances these 2 would spit.

From the "Native Guns", right? I just found out about that dude, he was an opening act for a show I went to, and he was pretty dope. You guys put some good names out there, I especially agree with Boots from The Coup, Zion, and Rakaa from Dilated Peoples.

True that, you listen to the Coup? Zion I? Hieroglyphics? There was a thread about all the westcoast artists not focused on the same tired concepts, you should check that out, there's a lot of quality music there.
