I gotta agree. They're impressing me the most out of any team these days. I'm thinkin it'll be Lakers vs Celtics in the Finals just like old times.

I really think we are gonna win it all ... the only two real threats are SAS and Boston imo .. the pushback of Drew return is a good thing imo .. to be honest I'm not fan of the idea of trying to incorporate Drew in the starting 5 with so few games left in the regular season .. Lamar is killing it at the 4 and Vlad is very important for the spacing of our offense .. plus the idea of having Drew and Ronnie in the 2nd unit is crazy ... great interior D and Drew gonna kill any backup Cs ... Drew will be most needed against Duncan so I'd say give him 20 -25 min a game in the few regular season contests he gonna play and same during the 1st 2 rounds ..

The only thing that worries me about this Laker unit is their Defense.Will they be able to shut down a team like SA or Boston in crunch time?I think they have the talent to do it especilly when Bynum and Ariza get back but we shall see.

Sorry, but if Dallas can knock San Antonio off like they did a couple years back and if last years Suns came so close to knocking San Antonio off, then the Lakers can DEFINITELY do it.

I think most people are forgetting that this isn't even the full team. Bynum and Gasol have yet to play a single game together. And our defense isn't where it should be because Ariza is out and that forces Kobe to play D on SFs. And we've been on the road 90% of the last month and a half. And we're still rolling along like this? Lol good luck to whomever has to play us.

the lakers have a very good team this year
i'm not going to pencil in anybody as the champs, but i like SA over anybody. even the C's.

you know what i'll say it too, pau gasol and fisher really bring something to this laker team that wasn't there for the last 3 years. then you got bynum inching his way back, bout a month or so. but you guys got to remember two things
1) fuck what happens in the regular season, the real season starts in april/may
2) never underestimate the heart of a champion......the spurs are still a deadly team and it's going to be hard to put them away in 7 games.
