Title: Beatz on mixtapes?

Say you got an original beat from a producer, for a mixtape, you still gotta purchase that shit, since it ain't an official album?

Or say you are down with a nigga, are you still gettin' charged the same price, if a price at all, for a beat?

Seems like it would be up to the guy who gave you the beat. But if its just gonna be on a mixtape, prolly not.

There is no correct answer, selling or giving away beats is a business decision made by the person who makes the beat, doesn't matter where it's going..
