I feel that this is a West Coast classic, even though it wasn't as popular or blow up as much as "Fuck Wit Dre Day"/"Nuthin But A G Thang" and "It Was A Good Day" which came out around the same period. Both Cold 187um & KMG killed that track & the samples on it are classic. The video is off the chain too. "V.S.O.P." didn't have the same vibe as the other tracks on BML (like "G's & Macaronies", Process of Elimination, Never Missin A Beat, etc.) or Uncle Sam's Curse and it's similar to "Call It What U Want" with 2Pac & Money B, but it's still a dope record nonetheless.

I also dig the fact that Hutch & KMG trade off verses after 2 or so bars the whole song. It seems as if they're showing that they were equal and no one was better than the other. 8)
