Post by: H2O proof MC on May 11, 2001, 09:21:48 AM
yo Im fairly new to this board and of course this is a west coast board, but no one ever really talks about Ras Kass.  For this thread I would like people to comment on their favorite songs, information that people might not know, comments, questions.  Lets show some love to the greatest emcee

Even though I'm a white boy, "Nature of the Threat" is one of the most incredible tracks ever.

Ras is dope, first time i really heard him was Xzibits song 3 Card Molly i think, he just blew me away with his verse on there.
I thought Rasassination was good but disappointing, and i havent got his first cd yet (slaps himself on the head).

He is definitely one of the best real lyricists in the game, the joint im really feelin from him right now is Game Over, wooo that shit is FIRE.

oh yea, has anyone else heard his solo version of Ghetto Fabulous? i only got a low quality version on tape but its dope, he raps Dre's verse.

Ras Kass is one of the most incredible artist I have heard in a long time, if not ever. Soul on Ice is amazing. "Nature of the Threat was amazing as well (even though alot of the stuff he said was historically incorrect).

Nature Of The Threat proved to my dad and many rock fans that rap has the deepest most intelligent lyrics above any musical form, but now they say that while lyrically its superior, musically is inferior..whatever, Interview with a vampire is frickin %*G%*&%(*=unspeakably dope. peace-Tanjint
