Service Pack 1 is officially released. Make sure you remove SP1 Beta if you ever installed it (Control Panel > Remove Programs > View Updates)

Currently installing it. I'm on a fairly quick machine and it's 75% done in 10 minutes. According to reviews, SP1 final makes vista run very nice with transfers not taking forever and startup/slowdown going very fast.

Paradox OEM crack users need to switch to Vista Loader for SP1 since it fixed the exploit.

shits running very smoothly. things seem more responsive. folder exploring is quicker and things load quicker. i'd recommend downloading it for sure.

nice shit. i was rollin with the SP1 beta for a bit now and that was a big improvement over the RTM. but the full sp1 is really the shit.

I just upgraded, and yeah I noticed a few speed upgrades. But nothing too special.

Alot of security bugs were fixed. Did you upgrade straight from RTM or SP1 beta? If you're from the RTM then it should be a big speed increase in every aspect.
