man i just heard that d12 song that everyone was getting hyped about on westwood's show.....man that track is eminem's wackest cut to date...
and get this...the edited version is purple hills!!!!
hahaha...the rest of the album better be superior to this shit...
-
I think the song is ill. Why does it suck "mainstreem dick?" The song has only been played on radio a handful of times, no video has came out. It's yet to sell them one record. No video. Just say you don't like the song, don't hate on Eminem because he's sold alot records in the past.
-
Compared to their earlier stuff its garbage.
Anyone know who produced it.
-
It's not a mainstream song.
-
it sounds like and eminem and dj head production job, its not the best song but i like it, but y the fuck did westwood play it 4 25 minutes str8 on friday and then the other d-12 1 4 20 minutes totally irrelivant.
-
it sucks mainstream dick becaue thats the market which it is clearly aimed at.....
anyone will tell you that im a big eminem fan, and i condemn those who think its cool to hate on his cos he blew up...but this is just a horrible horrible song....
-
y the fuck did westwood play it 4 25 minutes str8 on friday
Thats what i wanna know how fucked was that. ???
-
DPGC... That's what I'm saying dog.
Crem... First off, your my dog...I'm just trying to see where your coming from... how do you know the song was made for the mainstream? And if it was what's wrong with trying to sell records. The only time I think it's wack is if your making cuts like Jigga, or Ja Rule, where you got bitches singing your hooks and they got that R@B/Pop/hip-hop type sound to them. Eminem ain't comin with nuthin like that, he's just making an ill song about poppin pills.
-
When i first heard that 2 i thought it was awful but now it has grown on me ...
Still .. i don't have much faith in D12, they'll do this album then disappear definatly .. if i do buy that it will be and will only be for eminem..
-
yeah..that song is weak
but im feelin that other d-12 joint...dont know what its called but i heard it on stretch armstrongs show last week...
the hook is like "this isss how it happens to uuuuu, thats how people get fucked up"...
that song is some tight shit..definitely not made for the radio though...it was edited like crazy
-
How it Happens to you was tight
I'm fiending for the D12 album
Gaywood was going crazy on it
For sure it will be released
-
Yeah they had that on Westwood 2, every verse had something edited. :)
-
Joachim do u like Gaywoods show and him himself?
Safe
-
Infinate- of course your my dogg man, we cool
all im sayin is that this song is little more than a pop song disguisedf in the shock factor that emienms lyrics bring, em used to come hard with it, spittin on dj spinna beats and ill underground shit, nowadays hes got bouncy beats and his lyrics dont shock the hip hop community anymore, they just dissapoint it because we all know he could come so much harder....
go back and listen to 'anyman' and 'just dont give a....' and then tell me that this is a good eminem track...
-
I wouldnt call myself a fan, but i catch it when i can, he does rinse wack beats like Ja Rule. his voice really gets to me aswell.
Peace
-
Oh fo sure
Do u have the album or have u heard it?
-
purple pills is ill, that shit is phat as fukk.. i love the beat for that shit, it is definately gonna have the world singin the hook fo sho... it is definately aimed for the radio but it's all gravy, i can't wait for that shit to drop... that album is gonna be hot as hell... purple pills and shit happens give me a very promising feeling about this shit... shit on you was aiight, although the beat wasn't all there the lyrics was hella tight, aight whateva i'm out, peace
-
Crem... If your comparing the two new D-12 tracks (found at www.y2hiphop.com) to his earlier work like "Just Don't Give A Fuck" then maybe you have a case, but if you compare them to all the other wack ish that's out there these days, personally I think D-12's on top of the competition. Devils Night could be the best album we'll see all year.

There is now way this D-12 album will be the best album out this year. With cds from warren g, kokane, soundbombing 3, hitek, wu tang, sticky fingaz, and mobb deep coming out, there is NO way it will be the best album we will see all year.
-
exactly what Top-Dogg2001 said... there is NO WAY this could be the best album of the year... man i have never been big on d-12 i think there going to vanish after this CD...Straight up
Peace
-
that's right, i think that this might be the best cd of the year 2 because everyone is expecting so much from everyone that everything seems to turn out to be upsetting. this is d12's first cd so really noone knows exactly what to expect accept dirty ass lyrics over dj head/eminem production. the only other album i see coming close to this shit is rakim's. even though it is looked at as this big movement in rap, i don't think it is gonna upset. as long as Ra brings them sick ass lyrics and Dre is on point, who said he ain't releasing this shit till it's classic. anyway to tell the truth i've been looking foward to d12 for a good minute now. Proof is a sick emcee and he can battle like a muthafucka. don't be surprised when it drops. imma say 5 million sold. what yall think.
-
This is going to get old defending D-12 for next several months. First I defended Eminem when he first came out. Then later everyone said they were fans after Dre's albums. Now they're all starting to hate again. I guess everyone's entitled to their opinion, but I've seen this routine before.

Has anyone heard What the Beat off DJ Clue's album feat. Meth and Royce - Em spits a great verse

no disrespect but....the infinite EP was recorded in 96 and the rawkus shit came after in, unless u were at the clubs he was battlin n shit i don't beleive ya
-
Mel Mans doin some shit for it aswell should be tight.
-
damn..i havent heard the cut yet......i hope its good.....i wondeer what kinda beat dre supplied for them...
-
Ka Rule, I think infinite is an LP. I'm pretty sure it is...Is it???
Anyways, today I heard this kid at my school singin "Purple Pills"...I wonder if the Boppers will like it?
-
Who knows we only heard 2 fuckin tracks. It might be a dope ass album...but till we hear the rest of the tracks we'll never know.So i don't know why peple are already judging it over 2 tracks and I like them two tracks so......
-
ORIGINALLY POSTED BY KA RULE:
no disrespect but....the infinite EP was recorded in 96 and the rawkus shit came after in, unless u were at the clubs he was battlin n shit i don't beleive ya
I had the BITERPHOBIA/BACCSTABBERS single toward the end of 95
-
Purple Hills, ahahahahahahahhaah`
-
ok its just that he shouts out 96 on the infinite EP, if u got a single from it then its some real rare ass shit considerin the album sold less than 1000 copies then that must hav sold even less and it had no radio play, u know y i think its not very likly tho 4give me if u do hav it.
-
I checked it over, and it's an LP...It has 11 tracks and 1 skit...and EP only consists of about 5 tracks,a clean version, and a buncha skits...
-
nah its an EP trust
-
Slim Shady was an EP and then an when dre picked him up LP
i'm sure infinite is an LP
-
Yea, maybe your getting confused...Slim shady was an EP...It's not hard to tell that Infinite was an LP....
Let me help you out
An EP will consist of about 6 songs at the most and the rest skits, remixes, Insturmentals, and clean versions. Some EP's actually only have like 4 original songs (Check "Creepin On Ah Come Up", "100 Miles and Runnin", "Kizz my Black Azz, Etc)
An LP will have over 7 original songs and. Therefore Infinite is an LP since it consists of 10 songs and 1 skit...I hope that helped you out ;)
-
I thought it was a alright. It definately isn't on the same level as Shit on You though.

He did two tracks with this crew called Soul Intent in mid 95. It was KOn Artis, some unknown, and Em on the track.
