Just to see how we faired against the other teams in playoff contention...
New Orleans : 2-2 Tied
San Antonio: 2-2 Tied
Utah: 3-1 Won
Phoenix: 3-1 Won
Houston: 1-2 Lost
Dallas: 3-1 Won
Denver: 3-0 Won
Golden State: 2-2 Tied
Nice. We gotta beat New Orleans next time tho, that game just might solidify one of the MVP candidates.

You might wanna update the record on GS 8)

Regular season records don't mean shit imo ... the only teams who have a chance to beat us in a 7 games series are SAS, Detroit and Boston

Regular season records don't mean shit imo ... the only teams who have a chance to beat us in a 7 games series are SAS, Detroit and Boston
...and I still think it would be extremely tough for any of those teams.

considering the Celtics swept you I find it funny you would say that.
whatever you base your comments on is going to be jibberish :-*

We actually kicked Detroit's ass early in the season and barely lost to them the 2nd time around. The two Boston games were some of the most horrible games I've seen the Lakers play. Either way, regular season games really mean nothing come April.

sure but you have nothing to base "i don't think boston has a chance" when the Lakers havne't beaten them once.
Boston's got the better record and a better winning % vs the western conference

Did the Celtics sweep the current Laker roster? I didn't think so. That's like me saying the Lakers have beaten the Celtics 95% of the time in the past decade...it has no relevance.

well the "current laker roster" hasn't played one game (Kobe-Bynum-Gasol together), so ofcourse not. But we beat a Kobe Bryant/Lamar Odom/Andruw Bynum team that was on FIRE against the rest of the league.

And? Right now, Gasol is our second best player...that's like me bragging about the Lakers beating the Celtics without Paul Pierce.

Okay? 35-13...that's a first quarter score...I'm not taking away from the Celtics, but getting excited over regular season accomplishments is lame.
