i know that song ain't that new but i just wanted to see what people think of dat track
i thought the beat was pretty dope and the chorus is cool too and overall it's produced pretty good but i think the lyrics are kinda cheesy kinda makes me not wanna listen to that shit too much
-
it was alright....id probably listen to it more often if the rest of the www soundtrack wasnt so wack
i mean, even that common/jill scott track is kinda weak....
-
that track was phat for a minute or so, it's got that west feeling kinda like Gold Rush off of Doggfather but it just don't got the mmfff to it, you know
-
yeah i didnt like it that much
-
yeah i thought it was decent... but sorta wack cause of the lyrics
-
The lyrics were whack becaus they were created for a Will Smith's movie soundtrack, and they weren't gonna have them rap about killin and drugs on a Will Smith (PG-13) Soundtrack...It's aiiight, I prefer "If i get Locked up"...
-
I really liked the song. The lyrics were weak but the beat was sizzlin.
-
Nah I didn't like it at all
-
Yo! I thought that song was pretty nice, the lyrics could of used some work tho. Anyone know the credits for production? Was it all Dre?
-
i thought that track was dope, production mainly. the drums are tight, really had that wild west sorta vibe to it.
i also really like those undercover suge/death row disses in the last verse, clever shit.
-
Mel-Man had a part in the production I'm positive of that. I thought the song was real ill.
-
Hey Loc, what ya mean by the diss Dre did on the song? Point that out for me homie.
-
yea i dont remember the exact words cuz i dont have the song to hand. but they were talking about going to handle some 'old fool who thought he had the game on lock' who had '26 plaques' (Death row had sold 26million records when that song dropped) and 'already sold 2' (suge put out chronic 2000 album first)
then they mentioned the place where they used to smoke chronic a lot etc and describe how they shoot up the place. then they flip it and say his name is Doc Loveless which i guess is a character from the wild west movie but you can tell its not about him. its real subtle, those are the best diss songs sometimes imo

Oh okay, I get what your sayin now. I never really thought of it that way, thanks. ;)
