Sorry ya'll, but i just gotta ask, why does it seem to me that everyone who writes anything on any of these forums is on Dre's dick? I know he's a good producer and all that shit, , but don't you all think that there are other producers out there too? I mean, the chronic and chronic 2001 were incredible albums, but don't you guys think that there are albums out there like it? Personally, I think that Makaveli 7 Day Theory has great production, Kurupt's Streets Iz a Mutha has great (if not better production) than dre's 2001. And the lyrical capabilities of Kurupt surpass Dre and his songs that were written by Jay-Z and eminem. His first album is pretty much untouchable, but that shit is nearly 10 years old by now and we still got people riding his dick because of it. Everyone seems to leave out his Horrible album "the aftermath" when talking about the chronic shit. Look, i'm not trying to diss no one, but damn, can't we try and open our eyes to other artists, such as Battlecat, Dj Quik, Soopafly, Daz, the RZA, Organized Noize, Outkast.....all of whom have much greater lyrical capabilities than Dre.

Nah it ain't like that! Dre is the greatest of all time period, not just behind the boards. You could call me a dick rider, but I don't give a shit. I have my opinions.

ANd 2001 was the Most well produced abum in years.There are other dope producers.but none are on his level

the reason why peole talk about the chronic so much is becuase it is probably the best produced album ever striaght up.....ain't no one saying dre is the best rapper no one thinks that, but his music is the best and top notch

Dre may be known for his incredibly hot beats, but there's another side. He's a REAL producer who helps guide the rapper on how to make there shit sound right. He'll make you work at it till the shit is perfect. Many times artists have said when they in the studio with Dre, they achieve great things.

Let me set you straight right here and right now. When the 1st Chronic came out, I was just getting into my twenties, that shit was the bomb then and it's the bomb now. Everytime I put it on even to this day, my head is ringing. Now you can call it what you want to but Dre shit is the bomb. The AfterMath to me was good but that's my opinion. Everyone is intitled to speak on how they feel and what not. This site has Dre's name on it so why in the hell would I give a damn about someone elses's shit when I am in this site specifically for Dre. If you want to hear more shit about other people, go to their site and you can talk about them all you want to. I hate haters and they never get far cause dissing someone else is all they can do. Now you can take this with a grain of salt or whatever but know for a fact that this has been Dre's time to shine so let him sparkle for a while. When those other cats time come then it will be about them. No one stays on top forever but while Big Daddy Dre is floating on the clouds don't try to shoot him down. I mean how many CD's have you sold? :'(

Bottom line is Dre makes tight ass beats. He has produced several classic albums and everybody wants to work with him from No Doubt, Michael Jackson, Madonna etc. Not many producers can say that.

Why are we dick riding him? We're not, we just feel he's the best producer...If most of the people said Daz is the best producer than you would say, "why is everyone dickriding Daz"...It's just that Dre has changed hip hop, and other producers haven't (as much as him)...Plus, most the producers you named learned their producing skills from Dre....It's not like we ONLY like Dre, we just seem to not be ignorant and take the time to notice how good he is...I love:

alright guys, it was just a question...don't need to get all defensive and shit. don't have to be callin me a hater, i mean, i got all his cds too....like common said "callin me a hater cuz i don't ride dick." yeah, i would agree with most of you guys on what you said, P4Dre, relax man, it was just a question, you don't need to set me straight, i just noticed that while i was in here a lot of people talk about dre like he's some God or something. i would definately agree with now i know about most of those folks were influenced by him. after all, i came in to see what was up with it, not to start shit. but to everyone, thanks for the info

My favorite producer is the Alchemist, but im tha first to put my hands up and say Dre IS THE BEST producer on tha face of the earth at tha moment.

I'm a huge Dre supporter too so dont hate on me for this comment.
its cool that people love and respect dre's work, he deserves it. only shit i dont like about SOME people on here or anywhere who say they are west coast hip hop fans but only support the big names, the dres the snoops etc. its really hard for the new generation of young rappers from the west to break out when even so-called west coast fans say shit like you cant blow up without a dre-produced single etc.
i also dont like when peeps who never met dre or whoever and start defending them on a personal level if they get dissed. its cool to like the music, but dont think your someone your not, dre doesnt need people sticking up for him, he lets his music do the talking.
again, thats not necessarily about people in here, just anyone anywhere, thats the impression i seem to be getting lately.
at least its not on the level of those few Pac/death row fans (you know, the ones who were down for pac as soon as he died lol). those cats are just nutso about this shit. at the end of the day, if you're not in the industry, know that you are a fan and a fan only.

Dre is the best rap producer in the game. I love DJ Premier but Dre is the best. There is no one in hip hop who created music like dre.
