These records can't be compared with the others, that's why i think these are his worst records....

But out of these 3,which one do you think is the worst ?
-
definately the Disciple.....dude dropped the ball with that one big time....2 disk album and about 90 percent was filler imo....hip hop is dead is prolly nas's best album imo...i can almost jam to that cd front to back

After "it was written" (his best album EVER) these two above are his best record imho...
-
i thought nastradamus or however the fuck you spell it was bull shit. but i've like every album since then.
-
wow... hip hop is dead is one of his best albums, and definitely better than I Am.
His worst is either nastradamus or streets disciple
edit: imo hhid is close to classic.. i replaced where are they now with the 80s remix and put dont body yaself on instead of who killed it, tho 8)

Street's Disciple is under-appreciated. DOPE ALBUM.

Give the album a proper listen, let it marinate and ye shalt see...

^ I tried to do just that various times, then I gave up on that dud. But to each his own opinion...
My order, excluding the Lost Tapes and QB's Finest, would be
Illmatic
Illmatic
Illmatic
Stillmatic
It Was Written
HipHop Is Dead
God's Son
I Am...
Street's Disciple
Nastradamus <- seriously one of the wackest albums ever made by a great artist

Dope list

Out of these three, it's obviously Street's Disciple.
But generally - it's a tie between It Was Written and Nastradamus.

yeah its got fillers, it didn't need to be a double LP, but Disciples got heaps of dope songs, Message 2 tha Feds, Street's Disciple, U.B.R. (unauthorised biography of rakim), Rest of My life, Reason, Makings of a Perfect of Bitchm, Thief's Theme...
-
personally i dont mind Streets Disciple now.. at the time when it dropped i wasnt feeling it much, but duno somewhere over the last year or two i got into it and changed my perception of it..
Nastradamus --- would be my choice for worst album

I might be a little tired lol - It's a good album, but not his best.
My list is
Illmatic
God's Son
Stillmatic
Lost Tapes
Hip Hop Is Dead
...I Am
Street's Disciple
It Was Written
Nastradamus
It's a close race between 3-6.
-
i am was the shit.
fuck disciple.
-
Nastradamus is :-X
-
Nastradamus is :-X
yup, pretty much !
-
Nastradamus
-
easily street's disciple for me
-
I didn't know anyone really thought God's Son was a dud. That CD was bomb to me.
-
I said "Street's Disciple" only because there was some filler tracks that coulda been taken off, or even the 2 discs could have been narrowed to one... I still like that album though for the most part, some classics on there
"Nastradamus" is definatly the worst one though, FACT, not personal opinion 8)
-
I didn't vote because neither of those are his worst ones, IMO.
Nastradamus wins this one by far.
-
Nastradamus
-
HIP HOP IS DEAD. DISAGREE AND YOU SHOULD NOT CLAIM TO LIKE HIP HOP. STREETS DISCIPLE WAS HIT AND MISS BUT IT'S STRONG POINTS WERE SOME OF THE GREATEST BEATS AND DESCRIPTIVE LYRICS OF IT'S TIME. I SEE YOU OVERFIEND.
-
^Word. "wisdom is vital,for the survival,of the Street's Disciple".
Question: Which album is the worst ? God's Son 3 (18.8%)
Street's Disciple 11 (68.8%)
Hip Hop Is Dead 2 (12.5%)
^
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!! Im melting................
-
to me nastradamus was the weakest!

I'll freely admit that I haven't listened to Street's Disciple in ages, but I just remember how let down I felt after a couple of listens, having heard "Bridging the Gap" and bought the album with high expectations. I might bump one or two of the tracks you mentioned again. Don't think I'll have the nerve for the full 2 hours or something again though.
Apart from that, we agree pretty much it seems...God's Son and I Am... are virtually interchangeable to me, the former has more good songs, but "Nas Is Like" makes up for about 3 shit songs at least, while "I Can" makes up for about 3 good ones, so close one there.
Illmatic
God's Son
God's Son on number two? That surprises me...it was decent, but > Stillmatic, IWW, Lost Tapes?
-
Illmatic
Stillmatic
Lost Tapes
It Was Written
Gods Son
Streets Disciple
I Am
Hip Hop Is Dead
Nastradamus
I don't mind Streets Disciple. Way to many tracks. Hip Hop Is Dead is just boring, only about 3 or 4 good songs on it. Would of been better if they put the original 'Hope' on it.
-
My list from best to worst:
Illmatic
It Was Written
Stillmatic
Hip Hop Is Dead
God's Son
I Am
Lost Tapes
Streets Disciple
Nastradamus
I feel gods son, i am, and lost tapes are all solid and equally as good for different reasons,

my list would probably just exchange Stillmatic with It was written after a more thorough listen

I havent really checked all Nas albums ,but hmm streets diciple gotta be his worst album.
-

God's Son is pretty good album...for me

How can u say that if u haven't heard em all?
-
Lately I've just been listening to his post-millenium shit, I haven't really ever got into IWW and I Am. Out of these three I picked Street's Disciple because God's Son was purely amazing (better imo than Stillmatic) and HHID was my shit. That said, I'm addicted to a couple songs on SD - Message to the Feds (the first part), Sekou Story, Live Now, Street's Disciple are all amazing...
I walk the blocks like, whatever God, my message to y'all Feds,
Who desperate to arrest us young benevolent hardheads,
Abercrombie & Fitch rocking, wrist glistening marksman,
Hitchcock of hip-hop, since Big Pop departed,
The project logic, is still salute the dead, glocks spit
Pour some juice out, for those in Manchester, Viewmount
Otisville, Lewisberg, Fort Dix, Fort Worth,
Oakdale, every Fed jail, where all my dogs lurk,
War hurts, much to gain, 'till the day we all say
'May your pain be champagne', then we all blaze away
At our enemies, may they die easily,
Long as they perish forever's what freedom means to me,
Blowing greenery, growing eager to, see evil things
Thrown away, zonin' gray GT diesel jeans,
Airs and Chucks, Solitaires, stones with the rarest cuts
On some Pretty Tone shit, haircut looks airbrushed,
And they aware of us though,
And we don't give a flying 747 FUCK though
Staying on my hustle..........
-
^gyeah dats what im saying!!! wrist glistening marksman....ill.
I love Streets, its got a good mix of Esco Druglord Nas, hippitty-hop Nasty Nas, black militant Nas and familyman Nasir Jones Nas...
